I booked my wife in here for her birthday and she had the most amazing experience. From the moment she walked in the girls made her feel welcome, her hair looked great and she was so happy with the result! She had a cocktail while her hair was getting done and I had a beer while I was waiting. Overall great experience we both would definitely recommend! Happy wife happy life

Love love love this place! I had the most amazing blow dry last week which lasted for days later and people were still commenting! Great experience, the best blow dry. If only I was a local, I'd be there evey week!

My first time visiting Blow Bar today and had my hair style cut and blow dried. I could not be more happy with Pippa. The only hairstylist that I’ve ever had that was so gentle when combing my hair (as it can be a little knotty after a wash) She listened and gave me the most beautiful cut which she spent time meticulously perfecting. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Two lovely ladies did my friend and I’s hair for Ultra. The hair came out fantastic and stayed in position for the whole night! Would definitely go back again when I visit Gold Coast again.

Best experience ever. I absolutely never do my hair and makeup so I was super nervous to get it done for a family wedding. I am also not used to the extreme heat and humidity in the Gold Coast so was even more worried as the event was starting on the beach and then was continuing all day. The amazing ladies here had my hair and makeup better than I ever could have imagined by 10am (didn’t even take an hour). I got a very formal looking messy style bun (loved it so much) and natural makeup which was waaay better than I thought it would turn out. Makeup and hair was still in place at 11pm and I could not be more grateful. Highly highly recommend to all.

Blow bar lane were amazing from the moment I booked the appointment to the moment I left the salon . Jay was amazing and I love my hair so much !! I definitely will be back !

My first and definitely not last visit to BlowBar Lane!

Firstly, fantastic name! It instantly grabbed my attention and interest WAY long before I decided to book in there and I’m sure, I’m not the only one to have had this effect.

I booked for a specific hairdresser on a specific date and got informed (only because I made the effort to confirm my booking, the day prior, which I suggest you do also), that it would be a different hairdresser doing my hair cut, than the one I initially made the booking with.

For whatever reason it was, due to this, I made the change to the following day, (despite me cancelling plans to be able to make this booking, so I wouldn’t lose my deposit fee) when my requested hairdresser was available.

Now, let’s fast forward to the day of my haircut!

My appointment was first up at 7am with stylist Krys! She’s from Barcelona/Real Madrid, Spain.

Upon arrival, she instantly made me feel welcomed, (as did all the other ladies) and personally made me feel relaxed, offered me tea/coffee and/or anything else.

I had some photos of what style I wanted and Krys asked questions and re-asked them to gain clarification. She showed that she possessed extensive knowledge and had a very quick understanding on what look I was after. (It helps if you have photos for any hairdresser.)

My appointment all up went for about an hour.

(For me and I think we one else in general, that included)
-consultation
-shampoo, condition and scalp massage
(This is where I took a 5min cat nap whilst getting pampered)
-haircut
-blow dry and product

Throughout my appointment Krys was engaging, professional, fun, funny and personable. I highly recommend HER to do YOUR hair, yeah, yeah!

BlowBar Lane is situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise, it’s decor is inviting, the music is groovy and for those influencers, it’s got the goods for you to do your thing when you’re getting your hair done there, yeah, yeah!

The only regret I have, is that I didn’t book later on in the day so I could try one of their cocktails…or two! There’s always next time.

I had Cheri do my hair and she went above and beyond! After washing the colour out, we both weren’t happy with it so she took the time to do another toner to correct it. It was Friday and I was her last client of the day and she was in no rush to get me out of the chair. So professional and lovely! Can’t thank you enough x

I wanted to treat myself while on holidays and blow bar didn’t leave me disappointed. I went in with no clear vision but desperately needing a revamp. I left feeling like a new woman with hair I absolutely LOVE. The location was super easy to find, the staff were all so lovely, pricing was very reasonable and how fun to be able to have cocktails! I loved mine. I would definitely go back I had a great experience.

Okay, so for all my ladies on the coast needing a quick fix or have an event to go to. This is your place, awesome service, love the space an atmosphere but the best part. Take your gal pals and have a drink while you get your hair done.

Located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise and under the circle on Cavill building, all the ladies that work here are extraordinary and have excellent knowledge to cut, style, treat and add hair extensions that look so natural. Go in and see them. They will share their knowledge and help anyone with an issue with their hair.

Cherri is amazing! I unfortunately booked only for installing my hair extensions and made a mistake of not booking for hair colour and blow out. But she managed to accommodate my request and offered alternative solution in a short time we have. I walked out the salon completely happy! Thanks again Cherri.

I have been to the blow bar based on the previous good reviews and everything is true. The service, the crew, and how my hair turned out was amazing. My hair was curly and thick but was a complete transformation at the end with beautiful wavy hair. Big thanks you to Pippa and Kris . I had a really great experience Definitely coming back.

Booked in last minute here this week to have my weft moved up. As I was halfway through the working day I had my (well behaved) dog with me and they welcomed him to come along. They fit me in on the same day and I had the pleasure of being treated by Lucy. She was a very kind and genuine stylist with soo much knowledge I was firing so many questions at her. She was honest and told me exactly how it is and that she wouldn’t hesitate to tell me if my hair couldn’t handle a certain amount of bleach and I think that’s very very hard to find in a hairdresser. I will be going back to her for all of my hair appointments in the future and recommending her to everyone.

Booked for a girlfriend and I to have a fun afternoon of pampering. All staff were nice and very good at their craft. Understood both different hair types and our results were stunning! (Shout out to Toni) Also a great price point for a tourist destination. We paid the same as if we were at home in Melbourne. They also have a bar with a huge range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and a trained bartender. We had cosmos and watermelon martini’s. Both amazing. The manager is also amazing. Good with recommendations, kind and on the ball! We will be back!!

My second visit to the salon and I must say, I was extremely happy with Pippa and her service. I had a scalp treatment and blowdry. My hair came out silky smooth, light and perfect. Pippa applied a heat protection cream prior to blow drying and then a serum, post flat iron. I worked with Nikki to book this appointment and I'm grateful for her assistance.
