Didn’t know what to expect walking into an Anaconda store to buy fishing gear coming from New Zealand but they for sure exceeded expectations. Being a club member saves you hundreds which you can become for free. Went to the fishing section and saw the young fellas named Talon and Ty and they hooked me up with some extremely good knowledge and local spots. Thanks to them my son caught his first flathead. Huge props to them and their team 👏

I walked in and had no idea what I truly needed but the customer service was amazing. Charlotte was so helpful and kind. She made me feel at home and comfortable in the store. I was full of questions and she had every answer. Amazing thank you!

If you're into shoes this is for you. In my opinion the Merrell Moab mid waterproof, even in summer heat, is the best trekking, walking, gardening, whatever shoe ever made. However it needs to be married with an insole insert from foot logics (factory outlet) also in Burleigh. Anaconda were offering this Moab mid in a full leather upper for the same price as the standard Gortex upper so no brainer.
Here's the review - a staff member there called David kindly set aside a good 20 minutes and his listening skills were second to none. Following my description of specialist needs and use profile (flat feet & long bush trekking) his advice was insightful at the least, genius is more apt. I left there with a $235 (member price) pair of Moab mid 3 that were actually half a size smaller than my last terrific pair. Who woulda thunk?! Now, after using them for 3 days I can only say "What a guy!". Other shoe outlets might have all the bells and whistles I.T equipment but they don't have Dave. Once again, human wisdom hands down beats teenagers working with computer scanners. Thanks Dave. 5 stars!

We ordered the wrong size bicycle online by mistake. We were assisted by Tom at anaconda west Burleigh and I can’t speak highly enough about the service we received. He explained things so clearly so that we could decide on the best course of action. He was so helpful and I was so happy with his service that I purchased more items while I was waiting. You are a customer service superstar, Tom, thank you.

Cleanest store I've ever seen. Staff are exceptional in their product knowledge and customer service. The manager is always eager to help should you run into any issues.
All in all, this store is elite when compared to Ashmore.

I went to the Burleigh store to buy a swag and got some awesome, friendly and knowledgeable assistance from Mark. He found me a great product at an even greater price and I ended up buying a heap of other stuff because they were so well stocked and had everything I needed. Highly recommend this store. Th middle aged blonde lady at the front desk was delightful and had great customer service

Purchased my first surf fishing tackle last Sunday, Tom is the absolute expert on giving advice and finding what you actually need rather than damaging the wallet. I was very happy about his service and I caught my first dart later that day. Recommend strongly talking to Tom if you have any fishing queries!

Lochie was brilliant!!!
Just around Christmas 2022 the gas hose on our camp stove blew a seal and was too dangerous to use.
I spent 5 hours driving all over the Gold Coast region, until I finally came to Anaconda West Burleigh.
Lochie helped me find what I needed, even while making the rest of the staff quite upset, as it went 5 minutes past closing time, all with a big smile and great customer service.
He needs a bonus or a raise. This kind of customer service is natural, not taught.

My husband recently had a very good experience with staff at this store. His Diawa spinning reel which was 12 months old lost its reverse braking capability. The reel was purchased from this store. My husband dealt with James who was extremely helpful and contacted Diawa direct to see if they would assist with any warranty. The answer was no so James took it upon himself to find another reel body that was lying around and fit the existing spool to it. This works brilliantly and James should be commended for giving excellent customer service.

Jason and Jai went above and beyond with their customer service. They spent much time helping us when we went to the West Burleigh store. We had an issue with a kayak we had purchased at another store and Jason kindly sorted it all out in a matter of minutes. Extremely accommodating and professional. Jai helped give us an overview of how to work a fishing kayak which we purchased from them. Both staff EXTREMELY polite and helpful. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

lovely helpful staff. I purchased life vests by Jarvis walker over 4 years ago in Perth and there was a safety recall on them.
Even though this shop wasn’t open when I purchased them or sold them even they went out of their way to help with the refund and were really nice to deal with. highly recommend these guys! Will be returning for all my camping needs

Great selection of outdoor gear, not just for camping but for hiking and traveling too. Staff member Mark/Matt (sorry not sure of the name) did a great job is assisting me to find the best fit of hiking boots (they were actually cheaper than the ones I was going to buy, so he wasn't upselling me, just making sure I had the right ones for my feet).

As a rule I absolutely hate shopping. I had previously gone to 2 other outdoor stores in the area and left with nothing due to poor layout, a lack of sizes available and annoying sales staff.

By chance I was passing Anaconda and decided i'd have a look to see what they sold. It turned out literally everything, and not just cheaper ranges of products but quality ones too. On top of this the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They cared about helping customers and not selling to them.

As it happened, I bought literally everything that I needed for my expedition and it was such a nice and easy experience.

I'm never shopping anywhere else for outdoors stuff again.

Really great customer service. Despite being busy, the staff were super helpful in assisting me return an item for which I had lost the receipt. The store itself is also great, with a huge range of products and lots of bargains to be had.

Amazing service from Caleb!

Came in Looking for a certain fishing rod and a bit of tackle, Caleb immediately came to help with such a friendly and enthusiastic attitude . Found the rod and assisted with the tackle i would require (i.e. hook sizes and all)

I was already very satisfied with the service, but he then went above and beyond, providing a new standard for what customer service should be. He rigged up the braid to my reel and even taught me one of his favorite knots, so that I wouldn't need to use/purchase a swivel.

Again, thank you Caleb and Anaconda West Burleigh, I'm actually from Brisbane, but will definitely pop back in store next time I'm in the area. Really appreciate the effort you went to and the passion for fishing you have.

We went in on Sunday to get my 5 year old daughter a snow suit. There weren't any pink ones in her size on the shelf. Adam - a staff member offered his assistance and we asked if there happened to be any pink snow suits out the back. He took the red one we had and went to find one, he then came out and advised the system states there are two in stock and if we were happy to wait for him to have a dig around. He literally opened boxes and found one and the look on our daughters face was priceless! Pink is life for her so getting to go for her first snow experience down south at the end of the week was so exciting now she had her pink snow suit!
Thanks Adam at West Burleigh Anaconda for going above and beyond to help us yesterday! That was customer service at its finest!
