Ebden & Olive Cafe

Top spot, easy to park as we were passing through.
Enjoyed a latte and a version of the scrumptious croque monsieur without the ham, it was totally sublime, great portion size and the cheese was omg sooooo good!
Love to know what cheese they use for this masterpiece.
Service was great and friendly.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very cool place and dog friendly.

Ebden and Olive catered for our wedding. They were incredible. We had 160 guests on a property and they provided us with the most incredible meal. Nothing was too hard for them and they were very helpful in the lead up to the wedding. Their staff were all very friendly too. Would highly recommend!

What a great place!

Sandwiches are first class. The Croque Monsieur was A1 - with the best Gruyère cheese.

The Chicken ‘Dinner Dinner’ sandwich was also a winner.

Large Coffee cam in a huge mug which was excellent.

Great outdoor seating area complete with dog pegs and water bowl - plus some really comfy lazy chairs to relax in.

Service is A1

We found this cafe by chance when passing through Albury. Unvelievable! The best food we have had in a cafe in a long time. We have savoured the takehome food that we purchased too. Enjoying a further lunch and dinner at different stops on our way home to QLD. The flavours are so good - I am devastated that we can't eat here more often. So impressed, planning what else we will buy next time my other half travels that way for NSW hunting trip.

We had the team from Ebden & Olive cater our engagement party, and honestly 5 stars is not enough.
- Incredibly prompt communication in the lead up to our event, Steve & Jodie answered any queries quickly and guided us in our food selections/timeline.
- DELICIOUS food: we had a cocktail-side service, the food was so delicious, and all dietary requirements were catered for with ease. Guests haven't stopped talking about the food.
- Service at the event was sublime: the chefs & service team were incredibly friendly, professional and communication with my fiance and I periodically throughout the night and were able to help with anything we needed.

Absolutely recommend for any event!

I got the Croque Monsieur and it was honestly one of the best toasties I've ever had! Staff were friendly and things were fairly priced. I'll be stopping again next time I come through Albury - much nicer than finding lunch on the main street.

They always ensured we were eating during the reception, everyone raved afterwards about how good the food and service was. I often have a delightful Saturday brunch here, it's the best cafe in Arbury.

When planning our wedding I had very specific ideas in mind for the catering - it was one of the things on my list that I was not going to skimp on. I feel that food plays such an important roll in an event. I didn't want our guests to need to do a Maccas Run at the end of the night, or not enjoy the food in front of them. Ebden and Olive made sure that none of our guests were left hungry! Every single guest commented on how incredible the food was. They raved about how delicious it was and how amazing the flavours worked together. And that there was so much food they wanted to keep eating but just couldn't fit it all in. This is exactly what I had hoped for.
Jodie and Steve made everything so easy for us. They are professional, kind, understanding, accommodating, and helped create what was the most perfect day and night for my husband and I. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. We highly recommend Ebden and Olive - you will not find better food and people.

Walking in to a funky and relaxed atmosphere, this cafe is the perfect place for brunch, lunch or a coffee break. They have a wide selection of gourmet cheese and foods, as well as a simple yet elegant menu. Can't wait to come back and hungrily try everything!

Jodie & Steve - what absolute legends! Thank-you so much for catering at our wedding earlier this year! From the canapes (including the theatrical proscuitto station), to the amazing mains and delish desserts it was absolutely outstanding and we have had so many compliments from our guests since. Not only were we blown away by the quality and service of the food and staff but dealing with you both in the (slighltly stressful) lead up was an absolute pleasure as you really calmed our nerves. Stopped there on our way up to Canberra. Food and coffee were great (delicious croque monsier which had the best gruyere cheese I've had in Australia). And they sell lots of good different cheeses too. Definitely recommend going!

May 2023. Leaving Albury this small cafe was close to the Motel I was staying at. It was a miserable wet and windy morning and I was looking for breakfast. It was delicious and the coffee was lovely. It is a tiny place but it was pleasant and service was very quick. I was able to head off on my trip with a very contented tummy and spirit.

Excellent coffee shop, quick service and excellent coffee. You can bring the pups along and sit out on the grass.

So happy with their corporate catering, the fruit platters are amazing. The staff are so accomodating and dietary requirements are not a problem. Highly recommend for your next business lunch /meeting
