These guys were fantastic. They called to check I had ordered the correct item to fit my lens, and it saved me a big mistake! Seemed like a great bunch of guys having fun in the office and helping out their customers!

Such a good service, you would be a fool to go anywhere else! I got myself in a bind, and needed a new lens in four days. 15min after I gave them a call, they figured out a solution at a great price. By lunch time the next day, it had arrived at my place in Melbourne. Well played, would recommend.

Excellent customer service. I had lost my filter kit whist on a trip, so phoned to check if they had any in stock (which they didn't), but said they would get the supplier to send to me direct as I needed them urgently (after they phoned the supplier to make sure they had some in stock). Saved me a lot of stress.

I've bought several cameras ( Nikon D750 & Nikon D850) as well as a few lenses , tripods and associated camera gear From Cameras Direct.. Whenever I'm on the phone to them I've spoken to a real Aussie bloke that gives you up front honest Aussie advice not soft pandering pap. Their prices are always in the ball park with other Australian company listings too.
The purchased items have been delivered across the country to WA within the week, wrapped up like new born babies... I have no problems trusting this business . Good work.

I've bought from Cameras Direct twice now and have been more than impressed by the service and speed of delivery. Purchased the excellent Sigma 150-600mm super telephoto for an overseas trip next week and was happy to have it delivered today - less than a week after I ordered it. Considering I'm in WA, the delivery was impressive. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I was having trouble getting a lens. I had one on order with another company & was told they wouldn't be in till beginning of August.
I went on Cameras Direct website & spoke to someone on 'live chat'. They didn't have the lens in stock either as it's very popular & had sold out.
Mark emailed me a short time later to let me know they had some on order & he was 100% sure they would have them in within the next week.
So I ordered one with them & cancelled the other order. My lens was delivered a week later, just as Mark had promised.
The fact he made the effort to reach out to me really was great customer service.

I am planning a trip overseas and was worried about not receiving my camera bag in time but the after a quick chat with Ramon, I received an email from Mark reassuring me that my bag would be there in time for my trip. Fantastic folk with great customer service ethics.
Long story short, I decided to ring this place up after multiple failed attempts to track down a specific backdrop system at other, larger, Brisbane/Australian retailers (they all estimated 8 week delivery times).

The guys at Cameras Direct told me they'd ring up their supplier and get me an answer within 24 hours. Told me they'd have it ready within the week and they more than delivered. Within a few days they said it was ready for pickup and ran me through the delivery or pickup options over the phone. Only being a short 50min drive away I decided to go in to meet the people behind the great interactions. They were really friendly and made me feel great about my purchase decision and even offered some advice that was most welcome. Not a lot of stores go out of their way to offer a bespoke service like this anymore so I will definitely be buying through them as much as possible.

Selection & Price review:
They have all the essential brands and even some great alternatives.
Their prices may be around $20 to $50 higher than the larger chains but with the great customer service, I'm more than happy to pay a bit extra to know when I'll be receiving my order for sure instead of paying less at a chain-store and not knowing if it'll ever arrive because they don't bother mentioning anywhere on their site or email communication.

TLDR: Fantastic people, decent prices, amazing service.
5/5 will be buying with them again.

I have visited Cameras Direct at Biggera Waters twice now after a recommendation from another retailer. David and Mark assisted me both times. I found their service to be prompt, honest and professional. Being industry experts, they also have incredible knowledge that they are only too happy to share. Their prices are competitive and both times they have had items in stock, that I could pick up immediately whereas no other retailers on the coast had the stock available. I am new to the world of photography and both Mark and David took the time to explain things to me and steer me in the right direction with my purchases. No hard sell into products I did not need. Just sensible advice. I am so glad that I have found this shop, I will be a customer for life. I highly recommend that you check them out.

They were able to get the cards for the newer mirrorless cameras, canon batteries and the hood for a lens. I couldn't find anywhere else pretty much that had these in stock. Incredibly helpful over the phone and email, got them shipped very fast. Will be using again when needed. 100% recommend over some of the 'big' sellers who say they have stuff in stock but don't.

Had a quick need for portable flash setup for upcoming work. All the places I looked/called across Australia had it on sale but none in warehouse/store.

Gave a call to this store and one fine gentleman said they have the set that they can send out right after mid-day. Few hours later got notification that package is on the way. Package came with insurance from Queensland to WA.

I'm happy with good and straight forward communication and delivery. Not the closest store but next time in need I will
definetly check with them again.

Wonderful experience with these guys, recently purchased a new DSLR and a couple of lenses, got a phone call within the hour from Mark to let me know everything was in stock and being boxed up & shipped. My order arrived the next day (in SA)! I even received en email from mark who kept an eye on my order to let me know when it was out for delivery.

The service - absolutely amazing!!
Shipping - I have never had items packaged and shipped so fast from anywhere before and arrived literally the next day.
Website - easy to navigate and when they say they have something in stock, they actually do!
Prices - you literally can’t beat them!!
I know I sound like I must know these people - but I honestly don’t lol, I am just so impressed with their company!
