Purchased a Commodore part and to me it didn't fit. I took it back to exchange and was told the new part was an upgrade to mine. I was then told that because I wasn't told of this that they would fit the part free of charge which they did. They are a great bunch of very helpful people. I can thoroughly recommend GC Cars and I will shop there again

Friendly and they know what they're doing. They did a great job on my car! It took a bit longer than expected to get my car into the shop but the wait was worth it.

Phoned for a front set of VE SSV door trims. I was advised over the phone that they were in very good condition. Went over to GC Cars the following day, service was great, and the door trims were very in very good condition. Price was very fair and a discount was given at final purchase. Very honest, humble and genuine business. You don’t see that to often these days. Would recommend them to anybody who is after anything they sell. Thanks GC Cars Nerang and have a great Xmas.

Great friendly service. Got my Timing chain done in under 5hours at a very decent price. Staff are polite, helpful and professional. Highly recommend. I wouldn’t trust anyone else touching my commodore from now on!

These guys are the experts of everything Holden. The team are really the best in the business. If you need mechanical help, or need to source parts for your historic piece of Australian car manufacturing, these are your guys. They are so booked with work because they are so good at what they do. Don't make the mistake and put off whatever you need to be done! Get what you need now! UPDATE: vehicle has had a leaking timing cover since I have had it back. Will consider updating when fixed, as last time it was scheduled in, they didn't work on it. Currently booked for 8th February.

Update: Went in on 08 Feb 2023, and they told me that they carried out the work necessary. All looks good again. 6 stars.

Hugely impressed with the service I got from these guys. Needed the engine replaced in my 08 SV6 on very short notice. After initially telling me they were booked out until mid September,(around 5 weeks wait), they managed to get my car in and done a couple of days after my first enquiry. All while moving their operations to a new location.

Did a 400 km trip the day after picking up my car with zero issues.
Thanks heaps to Tayla , Jye and the lads for getting me back on the road asap. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased a tow bar from these guys. I paid, they shipped it out, everything turned up exactly what we agreed. They were the best value for what I wanted and when it turned up, the quality was good with all parts included (every last nut, bolt and washer). Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Had GC Cars do the s2 IQ upgrade in my series 1 ve ss, change my leather interior to full cloth front and rear ssz, and had a 3.45 diff supplied and fitted by them. Absolutely stoked with everything couldn't be more happy 👌

I would like to say thank you to Jye for being a 100% honest mechanic and saving me from having to replace an engine when it was just a timing chain.
They also have a huge range of spare parts, interiors and 2nd hand accessories for Holden Ve's.
Would recommend these guys to anyone who has anything wrong with their Holden VE's.

Spoke with Zane over the phone and told him what issues my wife’s ve wagon was having, Turned out to be timing chains😢. So we booked it in after reading great reviews, Car was done in a couple of hours and done at a very good price, staff were very friendly would highly recommend them for any ve commodore repairs.

Highly recommend, thanks GC Cars Nerang for fixing the dodgy work from all Aussie automotive. Got my ve commodore in for a llt to LFX conversion. You guys did a excellent job. They also replaced all the missing clips and bolts and other broken parts from my previous mechanic at no extra cost. Will definitely be coming back for future repairs. Appreciate the effort.

These guys are extremely easy to deal with , honest and provide outstanding work . Recently I had my engine completely fail in my sv6 VE Ute , after calling around various mechanics I was provided ridiculous quotes and even hesitation to carry out the work. GC cars Nerang exceeded my expectations providing quality work that was cost effective and also provided dialogue that was both professional and open. I would not hesitate using them again for any work required on my vehicle despite living over 200kms away .

Great price on timing chains for an alloytec. Very fast turn around and easy to deal with. Highly recommend getting work done here on your Commodore as that's what he mainly works on.
