Awesome, fresh and local! My prawn and avo wrap was simply delicious! Super friendly service, too. Credit cards accepted. I'd eat here every day if I lived on the island!

Loved popping into the Prawn Shack. Was able to stock up on prawns, steak, local handmade chilli jam, Ciabatta, and honey jalapenos to make the best holiday dinner. Prawn avacado roll was amazing, and service was great. So friendly and welcoming.

Gary’s prawn rolls are a must while on Straddie. If you have one on the first day of your trip they will be a daily ritual and get in early to not miss out.

Great local seafood shop! Friendly staff. Seafood so fresh. Especially prawns! Perfect cook in reasonable price.

The best prawns & oysters I’ve ever had in my life. So juicy and fresh. I’d get back on the ferry from brissy everyday for these. Lovely stock throughout the shop too, and amazing customer service the gent behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, look forward to coming back next time :)

The oysters are delicious and good value, but the major highlight is the prawn roll! Great value, incredible flavour, but fair caution typically sold out between midday and 1pm, though was sold out within the first hour of the shop being open one time I was there. You can however reserve a prawn roll for a future date which is what I'd recommend. They're a absolutely beautiful. Also a very nice bloke running the shop, extremely polite, exceptionally friendly and very helpful.

OMG, the best prawns I have had in a very long time. So fresh, we smashed through 1.5kg and were left devastated that they closed before we could get back to buy more. Will definitely be going back tomorrow for more.

Amazing prawn and avo rolls you can get for lunch. The oysters were so fresh! We bought some squid tubes, green king ocean prawns to add the our pasta and it was delicious. The squid was so tender and king prawns so juicy and yummy. We had to go back to buy more to take back home to Brisbane.
Yes one group of customers in at one time. Don’t know why people would complain about that when the shop is small and cozy. But also means the man behind the counter can give you his full attention.
My first time in Straddie, but certainly won’t be my last :)
