I would like to use this opportunity to thank Peter Cross of Audika Caboolture for saving my life. Having recently moved back to Caboolture I was looking for an audiologist and Audika were recommended to me. At the first appointment having my hearing tested Peter asked various questions and he concluded there may be some underlying issue and asked me to get an MRI scan. The result was l had an acoustic neuroma very near the middle of my brain. There had never been any suggestion from my previous audiologist that this may be a thing. Anyway, within 2 months l was in hospital being operated on. Although it was a very complex operation, the ‘timebomb’ in my head was successfully removed, I was told I would and have have lost all hearing in my left ear. Since then Peter has organised hearing aids, one for my good ear and one for my left ear with a built-in microphone that transmits sound to the good ear. Brilliant. I have better hearing now than ever, and all thanks to a very professional man. Thank you Peter.
