I can’t speak highly enough of Rick and his approach to not only fitness but nutrition as well. As someone who struggled with maintaining a routine with such an up and down schedule, not much of an idea about nutrition and living in a regional area my options were limited. I sought out Rick in December ‘23 to write me a nutrition and exercise plan that would allow me to achieve my goals with the 12 week coaching program. In the last three months Rick has given me the tools I need to reach these goals and set me on a clear path to continue my health journey into the future. What I liked about working with Rick was the education he provided along the way not just looking for the “quick fix” and I can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and gets a kick out of seeing people achieve their goals. I’ll be continuing to work with Rick into the future and encourage anyone to do the same.

I've always trained myself in the past years. I never met someone like Rick. His passion for his job is terrific. I have never achieved results like this for my body before.
He is a fantastic person, who has an unrivaled notion of training and, above all, nutrition.
It provided me with training and diet that targeted my lifestyle.
My physical well-being and the strength that I have increased in such a short time, is stunning.
I would recommend him to anyone. He's the best!
I trained with Dan too, he killed me all the time!
He's a very good trainer too, he knows how to push your limits and how to achieve your best results.

Five months ago, I embarked on my fitness journey under the guidance of Rick. Until then, I had never even stepped into a gym, and I was the least physically fit person I knew. Now, I eagerly anticipate each session with Rick at RBF, where I not only learn about the intricacies of the body but also gain insights into the power of the mind. We had Rick come and speak to our team regarding his 'Pillars of Wellness'. It was an exceptional presentation and Rick provided us with SO MANY tangible take aways that the entire team can utilize. Rick has a supreme knowledge of the body and its workings. He knows how to pass this information on seamlessly as well as pushing you to the limit. He is also one of the nicest people I've come across . It is a joy and pleasure to train with him. The best in the business for sure!

I suffer from AS, arthritis and extremely high inflammatory markers (in my mid 30's!) and hadn't been training for some years due to a lingering shoulder injury and fear of re-injury. I was initially hesitant to get back into training but wanted to give it a go and see how my body responded.
I've been training with Rick and Dan for a couple months now, and Rick also prepared a nutrition plan for me that has been easy to follow.
Since I started I've seen great physical results but probably the biggest achievement for me is the reduction in pain in my joints, my inflammation markers are back within normal range too!

Rick is a mastermind, Dan is also an exceptional coach and I cannot recommend RBF highly enough.

I have trained with Rick several times over the past 13 years, and now with his two other PT's Dan and Dave. The level of expertise these 3 come with is next level. From nutrition planning and in studio training to guidance with training outside of the studio their knowledge of the industry is second to none. They all live and breath fitness. I cannot not recommend this team enough.

I loved training with Rick! He is incredibly knowledgable and showed great attention to detail regarding my body and my goals. And the results were great! Highly recommend him for anyone who is serious about strength training (or just wants to look good naked!)

I have been training here for approximately six months now, doing five sessions a week with Dave, who is an amazing trainer with great knowledge about fitness, training and recovery. Thanks to him and Rick, I’ve lost over 15 kilos since I started and gained a considerable amount of strength - easily the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life! The set up in the gym is also amazing and really reflects Rick’s passion about training - super clean and there’s a wide range of machines, including several upgrades during the time I’ve been here. Would highly recommend.

I have been all over the world and trained with all kinds of trainers. I can say without hesitation that Rick is by far the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with. His grasp of what builds strength and muscle while keeping your body healthy and injury free is second to none. Always a great attitude and environment in his state of the art gym. Rick is an exceptional coach, such a nice guy & he really knows his stuff on the nutrition aspect too!
Instead of not eating enough & being constantly hungry, I now eat more & still have changed my body shape :)
I also travel a lot so using the workout app is helpful when I can’t train for a while in person. I have lost weight, toned up and can’t recommend him enough! Love my GC visits 💪🏼 Thank you Rick!

I found Rick after an extensive internet search for a personalised training program aimed at helping me in my chosen sport. After a detailed assessment of my requirements and my body structure, Rick prepared a workout plan, that I follow at my local gym. Rick is always available on the app and email - to answer questions and motivate!

I absolutely love my workouts and can see the difference in my strength and movements after just a few sessions. I'm so glad I found Rick, and can't thank him enough for his time and the direction he has provided me.

I have been training with Rick on and off for almost 8 years. Our goal in the beginning was rehab training for a lower back injury and we successfully rebuilt my overall strength and functionality. I am now a qualified PT myself but continue to train with Rick to keep learning and developing my skills as a trainer. Rick is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with sharing his experience. Absolutely the best personal trainer I've ever work with. The online app is very easy to navigate and follow and has really clear videos and instructions on how to hold good form throughout the exercises. Heaps of clever exercises that I've never seen or used before, or haven't been confident to try because I was worried about form, but Rick made it all straight forward.
He just knows his shit, definitely recommend working with him, it a really worthwhile investment for your health, good form, and a bunch of new training plans that'll keep your body burning and building. Love it!

Absolutely the best trainer I’ve ever worked with, have done personals and also through the app, best money I ever spent and continue to spend with Rick, getting the confidence to lift heavy with perfect form has made the biggest impact on my overall health and physique.
I also did a nutrition plan with him which I’ve been following for 4 months now and it’s been so easy to follow, and I’ve felt so much more natural energy and overall better wellbeing. I’m not needing caffeine or any energy supplements, just good excessive, good diet and good sleep and Rick has helped me perfect the first two. Last one I’m still working on I’ll admit!

I have always mentioned to Rick that he was the person who opened doors for me to the world of training and eating healthy. And so I have since continued, but however my journey has varied I am still to meet another trainer that besides his absolute knowledge and professionalism has brought comfort and warm encouragement to every training class and to every little gain!
