Peterborough House

After a long hot day sight seeing from Twelve Apostles to Bay of Islands, this hotel was an excellent oasis for spending the night. The rooms were modern, clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. The shower stall was large with good water pressure. The staff was also very friendly.

A cool place to stay during your Great Ocean Road trip. Very clean rooms with a lot of charm and all needed amenities, good coffee ☕ in the main building. As a bonus two labradors, that want to play with guests. Just amazing 👏 Thank you for the superb service!

This is the best. Great location. Great rooms. Great hosts. And 4 5 week old adorable puppies to cuddle and make this my favourite stay in Australia so far

Rooms are designed beautifully and fresh, carpet is soft to walk on. However the lights outside brighten up the room during the night. They offer free breakfast as well.

Only stopped for coffee, added a bacon and egg roll and well worth the stop ! Great coffee and freshly made huge bacon and egg roll with tasty relish

We didn't stay the night, just stopped by for a coffee during our drive along the Great Ocean Road. Coffee was superb, only wish they hadn't ran out of large cups as it was so tasty! We also ordered the bacon and egg roll. We loved it, bread was sp fresh, it was hot tasty and filling!

The Indian curries available for dinner are exceptional, breakfast also great. The resident pooch Polly is awesome :)
The EV charger was great too, perfect to charge overnight!

Lovely family friendly stay with excellent maintenance and thoughtful service.
Very well planned for families especially with young kids with common areas so tastefully decorated and provided with this, books and ample seating.

With very less food options around, this place serves perfect set menu options which are made and plated with love and passion.
Delicious food served in the perfect setting overlooking beautiful view of the waves crashing.
Last not but the least has lovely beach walk, play area just across the road and minutes away from all the great ocean road attractions and Timboon food trail. 😀

We stayed here for couple of nights over the weekend. We loved decor of the place, mix match of old and new created really cozy atmosphere. Bed was comfortable and we were warm, everything was super clean and Salus products in the bathroom. Host and her family were brilliant, she made us hearty breakfast and we felt like visiting friends. This hidden gem is also just across the road from the beach and between popular London bridge & Grotto on one side and Bay of islands on the other. Look forward to coming back in the future

lovely service, comfortable rooms, a delicious indian restaurant in the lobby, and an adorable dog named Polly 🥰. very close to the 12 Apostles (and related viewpoints) and a class location as is.

Great facilities - stylish decor and very cosy feeling. Food is great, and the coffee is by far the best I’ve had on my trip along the Great Ocean Road from Adelaide. I found myself chatting with the owner for majority of my stay; a very friendly and interesting dude 👌If you’re touring the GOR, by car, motorbike, foot or pushbike (my case) there’s no better place to spend a night.

Stopped in for a quick bite on a cold rainy day. Great food and coffee. Friendly people too! Bacon and egg rolls were amazing.

We stayed here for three nights and it was a big factor in making our break such a treat. The rooms were so good. Bright, airy and spacious with a sitting out area at the back. The design and styling were simple and clever. No detail was overlooked. The pillows and bed were sumptuous. Andrew and Rhoda have done a mighty job in such a short time. The reception lounge looks inviitng for a winter stay and the shared room with kitchen and couch and games is a bonus space for all to enjoy. We have told our daughter how impressed we were and she's coming down with her boyfriend. We have unfinished business and will be back as well. It doesn't hurt to be across the road from the river and front beach either. And yes, the curries and condiments are fabulous.

Andrew and his family effortlessly made us feel very welcome in their simplistic and modern accommodation. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the restaurant/cafe pumps out the best curry and coffees with a massive window framed view of the amazing coastline. The local golf course was relaxed and picturesque from all angles. A truly unique experience. Thank you.

Peterborough is a gem, it is surrounded by amazing coastline and a great base for doing touristy day trips.

We enjoyed our stay at Peterborough House. The quadriple room with modern and stylish design was clean, comfortable and spacious, just perfect for a family of 5. Very welcoming staff and generous nourishing breakfast. Highly recommend this hidden gem!!!

Beautifully styled rooms, spotlessly clean, great common room and lawn with kids toys. And don’t miss the delicious curry menu for dinner. Total jewel! Congrats to new managers.

Rooms stylishly simple, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The communal kitchen facilities, dining room and the menu from their kitchen make it all a great weekend getaway. Coffee was a godsend too. And it is soooo close to the beach!

In reviewing this Hotel we cannot think of a single thing that could be done any better. We stayed in Apartment 7. Superbly comfortable King Size bed, Large room that was freshly renovated. Linen/Towels were perfect as was everything else in the room. What we we were not expecting was outstanding coffee and breakfast worthy of an upper end Cafe but that's what we got. We had the Acocado Smash and Bacon & Eggs on toast and both were beautifully presented with fresh ingredients. Its a 10 out of 10 for Peterborough House. Photo is from the beach about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. We will definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room is very clean and tidy. Nice location. Loved the Breakfasts and coffee.
Made our entire trip - memorable.
