My great respect to what they are doing to coexist peacefully together with animals, also help and rescue them. When I booked the tour, I was happy to pay but only free tour was available. I can't believe the quality tour (1.5hour) can be provided for free. The guide Daniel was very friendly and made the tour enjoyable. We can feed and pat the animals and it gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend who loves animals and wants support them.

Edgers mission will always hold a soft spot in my heart. When I first went vegan in 2013, I was 8, and I remember meeting Pam at an event, such a kind person. All these years later I was privileged enough to be able to work in a food truck at an event at edgers mission. And even though I was an outside worker, I was still invited along on the tour. Feeding the piggies such an incredible experience. If you ever get the chance to travel here, it is definitely worth it. Such a magical place.

Edgar’s Mission is heaven on earth for rescued farm animals! And for me too - I love it there. It is a wonderful place to visit - Pam and the team are so hospitable and kind. Highly recommend the tours and the animal patting (lambies!) - they change lives for the better

A beautiful experience, so wonderful to see the hard work the team at Edgar’s do for these deserving animals. While it can be comforting to hear some stories, it is what we need to know about the different industries. This is a non for profit charity, please donate if you are able.

Emma our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable.

Loved our tour of the sanctuary with Daniel. The immensity of the love and respect Edgar’s Mission show to all animals was super moving. An amazing place doing incredibly noble work. The animals all have the most beautifully kept homes and rolling paddocks and it was so nice to get to join them and interact. Got kissed on the lips a LOT by Trapper John 🐐💋 Very inspired and hopeful to become a volunteer one day.

I cannot speak highly enough about this amazing animal sanctuary and what they stand for.

Having followed them for many years and supporting their cause through donations we finally got the chance to visit there this weekend and we are even more passionate about supporting them going forward.

The love and compassion they show for the animals they rescue and the quality of care they provide for them are amazing. The staff are passionate and you could tell from the tour we did that they work/volunteer there for the love of the sanctuary and it's animals.

You must visit here if you are in the area as it will not disappoint.

Edgar's Mission's is one of those lights that gives me hope for the present and future peace and harmony for all life. Their unlimited kindness and humanity for non-human beings is inspiring and makes me so proud to be a vegan. Our tour guide Emma, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all things Edgar's Mission and animal welfare and treatment. Our walk through was perfect, I wish I could have stayed all day. The day was very interactive and animals were super friendly, it was a great way to reconnect with nature and the truly important aspects of life. The sanctuary is very clean and orderly, which shows the immense effort and love that goes into ensuring these beautiful creatures can live in absolute safety and tranquility. Looking forward to returning to Edgar's Mission, hopefully as part of the team!

This is one of my favourite places and I’ve loved every visit. This was my first stay in one of their Tiny Houses (we were in Edgar’s Cottage) and can genuinely say it was one of the most peaceful and soul filling weekends I’ve had in a while. The stay included a 90min tour (our tour guide was Lauren and she was fantastic), the ability to wander the farm and interact with the beautiful rescued animals was heaven. Each with their own story, worthy of telling.
The houses are exactly as the name reflects and it totally works. Friends stayed next door (Timmy’s Villa) which was equally adorable.
The interiors are beautifully thought out and little touches with the decors (themed to suit their namesakes) topped it off.
It was awesome to be able to spend the weekend on this incredible place. Running in to Pam and Ruby was the perfect way to finish off a brilliant weekend. Thankyou!
If you aren’t able to stay, make sure you at least get up there for one of their tours!

My partner and I were lucky enough to be able to stay in the tiny homes over New Year's Eve, as both of us are avid lovers and supporters of Edgar's Mission it was a dream come true for us both.
The tiny home itself was a perfect relaxing little capsule which contained all of the comforts of modern living, it was top notch from the amenities to the views we had outside.
The biggest highlight was of course the free time we were able to spend wandering the sanctuary, we were out and about every day sometimes multiple times for multiple hours just taking in the sanctuary and all its denizens. From the staff to the animals themselves the entire property just radiates with love and care for all creatures great and small.
If I could rate Edgar's Mission higher than 5 stars I would, for they are one of my favourite places on earth.
We cannot wait to be back!

I did a tour at Edgar's Mission on Saturday and it was a wonderful experience. The guide was extremely informative and gave us some great (and confronting) information about the animals and how they came to be at the sanctuary. The animals were beautiful and friendly and I appreciated being able to interact with them. These guys really do amazing work and it genuinely should be visited by everyone to understand the impacts our daily choices have on other creatures. There was no guilt or preachiness and the guide left it up to the individual to make their own decisions and decide what's ethical for them. I can't recommend Edgar's Mission enough.

Absolutely incredible tour experience. Each and every animal is so special and seeing the lives they have and how incredibly well cared for they are was so heart warming. This might be one of the happiest places in Australia. Happy Days gives the sweetest hugs ❤

Rented a Tiny Home at this place and learned about Edgar’s Mission. Had no idea this place existed until then! Went on their Saturday 90-min tour and learned a lot about the rescued farm animals. Tour guide was passionate at teaching us about how animals were treated in Australia. It was a great experience meeting all of the animals as well! Fed the cows and petted some goats and pigs! Very cute.

Absolutely loved the experience and the tour led by the lovely Jane. Highly recommend for you to visit if you're planning to go down to the Lancefield area. Book in advance though as spots get filled up very quickly! Be mindful of how you interact with all the animals - some are very friendly while others prefer to stay at a distance. Great education for all ages especially for kids! Happy 2 years to Barrack🎉

Thank you so much Edgar's Mission for the wonderful tour yesterday of your amazing sanctuary, a most beautiful place indeed! Thank you Daniel for taking us all on the tour and showing us just how much you care about all the precious souls who are blessed to call Edgar's Mission home!
It was also a real treat to see beautiful Ruby just as we were finishing the tour 💗
Seeing the look of trust in the eyes of so many beautiful animals, actually feeling how safe and free they all feel, how loved and connected they all are across the fields, was a truly wonderful experience.
Thank you so much Edgar's Mission for being a beautiful shining beacon of kindness that will keep on guiding us all in the right direction 💗

I’d wanted to visit Edgar’s Mission for the longest time so I had pretty high expectations, which were all well and truly surpassed. From the moment we arrived we could feel that this place had the most loving and caring vibe, and that the animals were now living their best lives. It was a few hours of absolute pure joy. Thanks to Daniel, our awesome tour guide, and to founder Pam. I highly recommend everyone book a tour to Edgar’s Mission, it was the best day.

This is such a beautiful place and you can feel the kindness, care and compassion as soon as you step through the front gate. It is so heart warming to meet the animals and hear their stories of rescue and recovery. We got to interact with and feed so many beautiful rescued farm animals! Such a heart opening day out.
