Walpeup Caravan Park

Great place for a nights stop over. Power and water, kids playground, under cover BBQ facilities, amenities clean, pet friendly, easy walk to see the silo mural. Please make the $10 donation in the honesty box to keep places like this open, thank you Walpeup for providing this for us travellers

This is possibly one of the best community caravan parks in Australia. For $10 you can park in a nice safe spot with power. An additional donation of $3 gives you a hot shower in a clean, stocked amenities block. Thanks to the community for this terrific resource.

Great stop over for a couple of days. $10 per day. Powered site. $3 showers honesty box. Make sure you drop you coins in honesty box !! Not drinking water but it was available at CFA location just around the corner..water available if need for washing up in van. There is a washing machine coin operated and a good washing line. Spotless amenities block .. very clean. A volunteer lady comes round to collect fees and issues Mildura council receipts. She is lovely and the one who maintains the amenities block.

Good cheap spot for a stay over to break up the drive. Free electric bbq and sheltered tables with lighting. Toilets and showers were clean. I give a 4/5 on the poo ticket scale of sandybakingpaper-cloud9multisheets. $9 a night or $10 powered, with showers a couple of dollars more...honesty based box. There was a "community" council lady there handing out receipts for your stay payments but she didn't seem overly happy when I had dropped the money in the box...? Located close to the main road road you do hear traffic and trucks but they ease off as it gets later.

What a gem of a spot for an overnight stop on our way home. Powered sites, nice grass areas for our swags along with clean toilets, showers and electric bbq which was very clean. Small playground for kids to play on too. No issues with noisey trucks during the night. Small and reasonable fee to use this camp site and for the showers. Great little spot. Wish there were heaps of these on our regular route.

About 5 other campers there on the same night as us. Everything was as described. The rooster crowing well before sunrise was a delight! Most of the truck noise, as expected in this location, was quite bearable, although I am not convinced they all observe the town speed limit.

Great for an overnight stop. Not free but very cheap -$9 per night or for $1 extra you can have a powered site. Small but grassy and flat and a nice nature walk across the road. Coin washing machine, shower and toilets that are nice and clean.

Great little community park, clean amenities (no drinking water), $10 power for 2 per night + $3 per shower, honesty box, coin-operated Maytag washing machine but unsure how much.

Lovely little cheap camp. Grassy level sites, very clean toilets and showers. Even a coin washing machine. Some sites are powered. But no drinking water. Tap water is untreated.

A great little park provided by Mildura Council - clean, neat, with showers and toilets. Camping fees are paid via a donation box and well worth your $10, so dont be tempted to skip out without paying.

This stop was not on our list, we drove past and then came back for a look. Ended up staying 3 nights. Lovely green grass, power if needed. Under cover playground, barbecue area, unfortunately someone has not found it not necessary to clean after using. Clean toilets and great showers. Washing machine and clothes line. A real credit to the community. $10 per night. $3 per shower.

This was a fabulous place to stop. Small clean and friendly.

There are a couple of power poles if required. Flat sites. Play ground and electric bar b que.

Always clean with all amenities you need

This is a great little park, the shire need to start making all the freeloaders that stay here pay a reasonable fee to stay here, it's well worth $25 per night.

The people of Walpeup should stand up and take a bow. Fantastic little park great showers and toilets. Place was immaculate. Just be aware that sprinklers pop up out of the ground at odd hours and if you are parked near one your car or van will get wet...check your windows.

If you're looking for a caravan park, don't! It's actually a park next to the public toilets. Great place, although on the highway it was quite and clean. $10 for power, $8 unpowered and $3 for a shower only.

Well kept little caravan park. Very reasonable $10 per powered site per night. Highly recommended.

What a great place to spend the night.The price of $10 for 2 people includes powered sites,shower ,free elecric bbq, dont be put off by downside, is its close to the main highway ,heavy transport a bit noisy til about 10 pm.Yes good tv reception, all sites on green grass ,some recreation for kids available ,swings ,slides. And ...no need to unhitch..just enjoy.
