Greencross Vets Wellington Road

The staff are lovely and always helpful. Having a bunny who will get sick at the drop of a hat can be very stressful but I've never had a problem getting a last minute or emergency appointment. Dr. Courtney and Dr. Carol are amazing Vets and wonderful people! I always know that my bunny is in good hands and will get the proper treatment needed.

My daughter and I came across a native duck significantly injured/sick at the local wetlands today, which we presumed would need to be euthanased. We took the duck to the Green Cross practice on Wellington road, who were so caring and understanding in their treatment of us and the animal involved. They called us later to give an update. This would have been a vet examination, treatment and follow up that brought no money to the practice, but they thanked us for bringing the duck in . We could never have left this animal to suffer but were so glad to be able to access professionals to do what needed to be done humanely and quickly. Thanks so much.

Frank had a health check today. Staff were super friendly and great with Frank. The vet was also very friendly and helpful.

Had the best experience with Green Cross Vet here in Mt Barker.
Took my elderly cat in who was very sick with an infection and they did everything they could to help her. Medications, explained everything, followed up daily with calls & messages, and were patient and caring.
Unfortunately my beautiful cat didn’t make it and had to be put to sleep but the Vet - Dr Amber Miller - was so compassionate and professional. The whole team there are lovely - highly recommend.

I've been coming here since I got my first dog, just over a year ago. I signed up to Healthy Pets Plus at the time, but I was quite sceptical about whether it would be worth the money. Over a year later I can confirm that's it has been worth it, if not just for the peace of mind, I can bring my pets in for a free consultation for anything that may concern me. The vet staff are always friendly and helpful, even if I just call for advice.

They were wonderful, very friendly very helpful, and my little Furbaby loved her first visit, spoilt with cuddles and healthy treats, no pet anxiety, very breed knowledgeable. Lots on offer, including puppy training.

We usually visit another local vet but needed to see someone urgently and Greencross were able to see us last minute before closing. The staff were compassionate and thorough and at no point did we feel like we were holding them up. We've been back for a follow up and we're so thrilled with the care we received we're switching to Greencross for all our pets future visits. Great vets and practice staff; very kind and helpful and also very aware and pragmatic with managing an anxious dog. My girl actually tolerates being there, which is unusual for her. She has never really ever accepted eating treats at a vet before. They’re quite considerate in their practice.

Wonderful helpful staff. Recently, having moved to Mount Barker I made a call to make an appointment as we were new to the area, the reception staff so kind and positive making a time that suited me. Courtney the vet was amazing and gave me lots of helpful advice. Green Cross will certainly be my vet of choice

Highly recommend this vet clinic. The staff go above and beyond. They don't rush your pet, or get pushy or huffy if your pet needs to take things a bit slower and needs some extra care in handling. I love the team here, they have really made such a big difference to my anxious vet-goer dog. He has come a long way in feeling comfortable going to the vets thanks to the team here. My dog Kobe suffers from anxiety and the vet there was so caring towards him and made him feel so comfortable. He’s 11 year old and has never been treated so kindly by a vet before ☺. Thank you for making him feel so comfortable!

We just went to greencross to put our old dog to sleep. The staff were amazing and super understanding of what we were going through. We were allowed time to be in the room with her after it happened which was nice and very much needed.
