Loved the place & loved the vibe. Even though we visited them at night, the place had an amazing atmosphere & comfortable seating arrangement. The staff was very kind & friendly. We reached the location almost around their closing time, but they still accommodated us and made sure we got everything we wanted. The food was really amazing & didn’t looked like a rushed job at all. So really happy with my experience & would surely love to visit again. Their Indian & Mediterranean cuisine both are on spot.

My fiance and I literally had a banquet at the mustard seed, and it was absolutely delicious 😋 we loved everything, including the atmosphere and service. The only problem was there was too much food, but then we got to take some home and enjoy it later 😋 highly recommend

Appreciate parneet for delicious naan. We drive for more than one hour just to taste food . It’s really worthy to travel for amazing food The staff was really helpful. We had free chai. We Enjoy the food . Highly recommend visit this place .

The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy and there is sitting outside also which is very nice and soothing. Food is delicious and they have a good drinks menu as well. Overall it was very nice experience.

Fabulous food, great selection of cuisine with plenty of vegetarian and vegan friendly options, reasonably priced. Courteous staff. Came away feeling comfortably full and very impressed. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon

Drove pass-by and stopped for dinner. Nice cozy spot with an European atmosphere. Friendly staff and food arrived very fast. Loved everything we ordered! The texture and sweetness of cheesecake was perfect. Definitely will come back (high tea looks great).

Birthday dinner for one of my adult sons. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was perfect- Vindaloo and Thai Green Curry with Garlic Naan. Meat was so tender and flavour was amazing. Thank you to the 2 wait staff who bent over backwards to accommodate our requests.

Absolutely amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely incredible. I don’t normally write reviews but this place was exceptional. The place was very clean and the whole building was very aesthetic. The butter chicken was by far the best I have ever had! Thank you so much for the beautiful time everyone. Family friendly I would argue. Also you must checkout the pond and gardens outside the restaurant if it is a nice day.

My partner took me here last night for the first time for my birthday. I've heard nothing but good things about this place and I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered from their tapas menu and all the dishes we got were amazing. Their bbq pork sliders were a stand out; full of flavours and the perfect size. I highly recommend their cocktails for drinks, they were amazing!

Amazing flavours and quality of the food at The Mustard Seed in Aston Hills, Mount Barker! We ordered takeaway and went with the Indian menu and ordered the Tandoori Lamb Cutlets for entree, Butter Chicken and Lamb Rendang for main with chilli cheese naan and garlic naan. Just delish! Great size serves. Best Indian in the hills. We got home missing one item and they delivered it straight to our home within 5 minutes. Your service was so great, we will be back and dine in next time. Thank you!

We had a high tea here for a hens afternoon. It was amazing, the staff were so lovely and accommodating (asked us what playlist we would like, tea/coffee, complimentary scones with jam and cream, glass of champagne). It was a cold autumn’s day, the fire on which was warm and cozy and added to the atmosphere. It was very reasonably priced at $35, there was so much delicious food and it was such a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

Awesome food, best I have had in a long time. Cooked to perfection. Lovely staff, Diva and Terri greeted us and were lovely. 100% recommend, a great place to eat and lovely staff.

I've been making curry for years from SCRATCH - building the gravy from individual spices. They were tasting better than anything you could get from anywhere - by a long way. These guys at The Mustard Seed gave my efforts a proper towelling tonight. We had the signature goat - I've never had anything so rich and complex with so many ingredients making it up - it was the thickest, most chunky gravy ever - it was truly remarkable and very memorable. To top it off, we arrived at 8.50pm on a Thursday night when they close at 9pm. We were hoping they might have something left over - but the owner said they would prepare anything we wanted from their whole menu - despite the kitchen having been shut down and part way into their cleaning routine. Never had service / accommodation of our needs like that - EVER.

Do yourself a massive favour....

Could not ask for much more. Food (Indian) was as good as it gets. Quick service. Good value. Friendly staff, fast service. Their house pale ale beer is awesome.
