Pretty gardens ran by the local volunteers. Lots of pretty roses. And big shady trees. Pond was a bit old and would be nice updated. Park was big kid and toddler friendly. No one else was there as it was a super hot day. BBQ and picnic tables so could have a bbq or party here. Toilets available. Dog friendly on lead.

Absolutely packed with wildlife - ducks, koi fish, rabbits, a wandering beehive.
Absolutely packed with Pokemon, too.
The kids love the Gardens.

A lovely garden to explore, although the afternoon we visited, a big storm had just gone past hence the large "lake" of water over what is usually a great space for playing, running around or simply relaxing.

Lovely small public gardens. Lots of grassy areas, plenty of shady trees and children's playground.

The Barooga Botanic Gardens are absolutely gorgeous, I was there this weekend and so lucky as it is autumn and the autumn trees were an absolute picture. Such a gorgeous wander around and one of the nicest Botanic Gardens I have seen, we worth going too.

Not much to look at in Winter but can only imagine how full of life these plants and trees get in Spring. Will have to come back in the warmer months to see it in full bloom.

Enjoyed our walk around the gardens. As it was hot the trees provided good shade, a wonderful array of bird life. Has great BBQ facilities and clean new toilets. Thumbs up.

Very well kept gardens. Beautiful to look at but also practical to use. Open areas to kick a ball. Paths to ride a bike. Fences to limit kids. Gazebos and trees for shade. Seating and bbqs for several groups. Cute bridge and fish pond fenced for safety. Highly recommend this space

What a truly extraordinary discovery! The plants, trees and grass are very well maintained. The BBQ area was spotlessly clean and well positioned under beautiful shady trees. It was a real joy to visit the Baroga Botanic Garden.

Beautiful gardens. I grew up in Barooga and it was just a paddock, now it is a little oasis.

Thanks to all the volunteers who keep this wonderful park alive! The Barooga Vintage Reds/Red hat society had a great time. Our March picnic lunch at Barooga Botanical Gardens was a great success.
Wonderful weather, the sun shining, mild temperature and a relaxing atmosphere.
We shared a great variety of yummy food with plenty for all.
One of our ladies put together a park trivia, which will take us around to the different features of the park, the next time we visit. Red Hat Queen
