I sent my son here for 7 years and in his final year he was a 2022 school captain. The academic and sporting results, facilities and teaching is incredible. They are the best primary school as of 2022 in QLD, achieving an overall score of a perfect 100. A multicultural society and a wide range of opportunities for all students to shine. Kids moving from here to high school have an edge over the other kids due to the high level of teaching at SHSS. The leadership, sporting, performing arts, music, and academic programs are state of the art. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a bright future for their kids.

went to this school for 6-7 years, most the teachers i have had are wonderful, heres a list of some: miss creevey, miss draper, mr klisanin, e.c.t, but there are some racist staff such as miss dalus. The education in this school is surpisingly well, and the teachers are really nice. i would recommend giving this school a try if you want your child to have a great education, good manners, and not have to spend thousands of dollars on sending your children to a snobby private school.

Wonderful modern school, my daughter attended for six years. It has a very good and well organised curriculum taught by dedicated staff who from my experiences as a lecturer in education at Griffith University, often go above and beyond what you would expect from a teacher. The people in the administration office are so friendly and helpful and the school has great facilities that are well maintained.

This is a true multicultural school. They celebrate the schools multicultural diversity in October each year with the "Multi fest" (multicultural festival) with rides displays of students work and a huge selection of foods from many of the cultures of students that attended the school.

This is an excellent school with a considered approach to all aspects of learning. Excellent music program, but more importantly a very effective maths and literacy program that goes above and beyond most other state schools. It is an Independent State School which means they are given scope to run extra programs to improve outcomes. Fund raising is often called upon to fund some of these programs, but all in all the outcomes are worth it. The Principal, Mr Mills is very engaged and is a respectable & courteous leader with good insight. Good staff culture and respect of others is espoused. From our experience as parents of kids attending, we couldn't hope for a better state school experience in the immediate and surrounding areas.

This is one of the best schools in Brisbane the teachers are friendly and the education is amazing also is the after school care program. This school has a music program holds a basketball and ballet program if u were trying to enrol your child/children this will be the best school you could ever find

Excellent teachers and curriculum. They take feedback seriously and are always helpful to parents. Fantastic school overall with an amazing music program. Also someone mentioned terrible NAPLAN results ( notsure what they meant), the last 5 years they were rated 99. This year SBHSS is ranked top government school in qld with 100. The results are from students of diverse multicultural/australian background, not just Asian, as mentioned below. I have also had some safety concerns and they addressed this. The school does help students with specific needs, sometimes utilising their SEP if not addressed in class.

STUPID KIDS FROM MY GRADE LAST YEAR SAID THAT THE AMAZING TEACHERS WE HAVE AT THIS SCHOOL SELL DRUGS AND SMOKE!! WELL LET ME TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE ALL LIARS. This school is absolutely AMAZING!!! The instrumental program here is so amazing and will give you or your child a really fun challenge. We got platnuim and gold award every single year. ALL YOU HATERS BETTER BACK OFF! The teachers are so amazing, fun, nice, inspiring and so much more. I am so lucky to have gone to this amazing school! HATERS BACK OFF. This school is definitely the one. ACADEMIC RESULTS= AMAZING. absolutely loved this school. i would recommend this school for all parents looking to send their kids somewhere amazing. Also has great teachers that love all their students and have the upmost respect to all individuals

This is the 4th year for my daughter in SBHSS. I have to say the reason for this school to reach the highest ranking is not only the high quilty school team but also the good educational environment.

Yejun Lee was a student at this school and does not have children, this school does not sell drugs, the staff are really friendly and education is great. If this school was a high school, it would rank as one of the top schools in brisbane.

Wonderful School with very caring teachers and stuff. Which encourage the students to become likewise. Definitely recommend this school to any hard learning children.

This is the best school ever it has good math and music and does not suck the teachers are nice and halpful to the students and the principal is very nice i have been at this school for 6 years and it is a top five star rated school BEST SCHOOL EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i was there for primary school i had so much fun. After being in high school i really miss this great and amazing primary school.The teachers were amazing
