Julie was so compassionate and kind as we travelled back and forth from Melbourne for a loved one who was in palliative care.
Sometimes how people (strangers) treat you in a difficult time overrides everything else.

Very clean and comfortable family room. Stayed 2 nights; staff were friendly and helpful. Short drive to town centre with pub within walking distance for dinner. Only negatives are light bathroom door allowing ALL toilet noise to be heard in room and pool still too cold to swim although advertises heated pool. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for money

We liked this motel. The room was beautifully clean, spacious, and comfortable. I also appreciated the way the AC (air conditioning) was not nosy at all. For that reason, we could sleep splendidly all night for at least 10 hours.

We are grateful for some complementary bottles of water we found on the table when arrived. Great value for money and not far from the city center on Commercial Street with lots of coffee shops, restaurants as week as some interesting tourist attractions.

First, the staff here (esp. James and Julie) are absolutely lovely.

Second, prices were very fair, and rooms were very nice. The back terrace apartments were very modern and had a Spa, plus a large flat screen TV.

The executive rooms are also very nice.

The front terrace apartments need a bit of a renovation, but besides that, the stay was impeccable :)

Lovely owners, friendly, warm welcome. The room was clean, fresh and inviting. Fantastic in room amenities, even a chopping board! Fluffy towels, comfy bed, slept like rocks, quiet with a great location, couldn't ask for more! Thankyou.

I have stayed with this family owned establishment periodically over the past 2 years due to unfortunate circumstances and they have been nothing but supportive. I have recently had to come to town for a funeral and the owner noticed and sympathised with my circumstances and upgraded my room at no extra cost. I cannot rate them highly enough. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Empathy goes a very long way! I cannot rate them highly enough! Cleaners are amazing and rooms are perfect at such a good price! Stay here! You won’t regret it. As a Mt gambier local I’ll book my stay here every time. Thank you so much to the staff and especially to the owners. Xx

Stayed for a week with my grandchildren. Stayed in two bedroom apartment, room was clean, staff friendly. Would recommend you stay here.

We stayed at Arkana motor inn and the room was clean and well laid out. The reason for the 5 rating was we left our toiletries in the room. They called us and offered to send them to us. Not only did they do that they put in the $2 coin that was left behind by my son who lost a tooth and the tooth came from the tooth fairy. He was so happy his $2 was returned. Highly recommend Arkana. They went beyond what they needed to do.

Perfectly located and tidy, well appointed rooms. Friendly service and also an indoor heated pool. Well priced too, what more could you want!

Will definitely return when in gambier again, staff were very welcoming and accommodating, needed late check in was easy done, staff are doing an amazing job, pool is heated and actually warm with cover

Can not recommend this place enough, Amazing customer service, beautiful pool and spa that is not only heated but indoors. Free wifi and daily room servicing at amazing prices. They also provide fresh carton milk not UHT. All rooms come with dining sets. We had a cot and the way it was set up was just gorgeous.

This was a beautiful place to stay, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The location is great and not far from places to shop or find a nice place to eat. The staff are super friendly. I highly recommend you give this place a look. You won't regret it.

After the first of three nights at this fine Motel, all we can say is that this is one of the best, affordably priced Motels we've stayed in. Large, well maintained and comfortable room, extremely helpful and friendly hosts.

Big clean rooms. Friendly staff Heated pool, close to shops and hotels. Quiet. Affordable, and we appreciate the crockery and cutlery! We stay here every year. We wouldnt go anywhere else. TV , radio, free WIFI. Suits us perfectly. Awesome!

Very friendly staff. Apartments were maintained daily. Local shops were nearby. A great place to stay when you need to stay for the week for the Mount Gambier Eistedfod. Beautiful caves and sinkholes are close by to explore also.
