Tagai Vineyards & Cellar Door

Very lovely small winery nestled amongst the vines and rolling hills. Casual vibe, stunning cellar door and view to match. Food was delicious! Look forward to going back in the cooler months

This is one of our favourite places in the hills.
Off the road a bit ,bit ,oh so worth the visit.
The food is amazing ,the wine sublimethe host, the music,the venue,all combine together to make it one place well worth going to .

Booked in for lunch, sat outside and it was just beautiful.
Shandy for me the driver, wine tasting flight for Hubby followed by a glass of the Shiraz.
Fab wines, fab place, wonderful lunch, lovely host.
Will be back for the pizza next time.

We’d picked Tagai on a whim (based on the vibe your honour) and wow the wines were amazing!! We tried a good range, including an amazing Rosè and some even more amazing Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon with amazing flavour and depth. The Chardonnay is not available for tasting due to limited stock available so bought this on the strength of Viv’s other wine. Unfortunately we were already full from lunch so couldn’t try any of food menu but rest assured that sitting down with one of these amazing wines, some great food and the incredible view the afternoon would be perfect.

What a gem, amazing views, superb wines (especially the rose). Lunch was soooo good, best gluten free pizza we’ve ever had, the lamb so tender and flavour packed! Everything was beautifully presented, so fresh and delicious, the service was great too. We definitely will be returning soon.

Fantastic place. Great food and the staff were friendly and so helpful. Loved the pizzas especially the dessert one. It was a lovely day so we sat outside and admired the gorgeous view. Will definitely go back and look forward to sitting inside near the big log fire!

Super nice place for a dinner to share. Food is made with love you can taste....for real think home made food your parents would make and that's what this chef put into it. Will be back again

This is a place well worth seeking out. We had delicious pizza and a couple of glasses of wine, the rose and shiraz.
The views over the young vineyards are incredible, and we soaked up the relaxed atmosphere while listening to curated tunes.
Viv told me about his wines and made sure our first visit won't be our last. 🍷

Such a beautiful and hidden spot in the hills. The owners and the pups are fantastic.

The small plate and wine we had was exceptional. We will be back.

Underrated to my opinion. The setting is fabulous, food is light and delicious. Pizzas are tasty and made right next to you by the Chef.
Wines are original. Loved the Desert Rose Rosé and the Pinot Meunier.
Super relaxing time.

A hidden gem. What a beautiful boutique winery. The wine food and service was outstanding. It's a must when visiting the Adelaide Hills

This place is perfection! Great ambiance, delicious pizza and other food, lovely wine, cozy dining area with open fire, good background music that’s not too loud, attentive and friendly staff. And the fabulous views! What more could you ask for?? And the opening hours mean you can go for lunch or dinner. So glad we discovered this amazing place and can’t wait to go again. A hidden gem!

Incredible aspect and scenery with service and quality to match. Food was able to cater all our dietary needs and was fresh, abundant and delicious. The wine tasting was fantastic and was even better for the intimate, relaxed and classy setting. I will be going back.
