Our stay at Kubba Roonga in Blackheath, NSW, was simply outstanding. Chris and his partner excel at preserving the beauty of this heritage home. Their hospitality surpassed all expectations, and Chris's knowledge of the Blue Mountains area is unmatched. The Victorian-era charm of the house is impeccably maintained. While some reviews mention the rules set by Chris and his partner, we found them reasonable and necessary given the property's vintage. It's important to remember that you're sharing a home, not just staying in a generic motel. My partner and I felt entirely comfortable throughout our stay and will definitely return for a longer weekend getaway. Five stars hardly do justice to our exceptional experience.

We have stayed at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse a number of times now & it has never disappointed. The minute you walk through the door, welcomed by Chris, you immediately feel at home. With a decor of old-world charm you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Everything has been thought of to make your stay nothing less than pleasant, relaxing & a memorable one.

This is the second time we have stayed at Kubba Roonga - and have had an amazing stay both times. Bed and rooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the spa bath. The common areas were beautifully decorated, warm and inviting - they seem to have thought of every little detail! Really loved the breakfast, with Chris’ spinach and ricotta scrambled eggs, and enjoyed the treat of some afternoon scones and an evening port by the fire. We’re already planning our next trip up.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Kubba Roonga. Like stepping back in time, the charming cottage is amazing, beautifully presented and really comfortable. Everything here is well-thought of. The tower is really thick & large. Like having a warmly hug after the shower.
The owner Chris is very warm and generous. The cooked breakfast was healthy and tasty.
The soft hand-picked music and ambiance in the lounge area throughout the day is calm and cosy. It is romantic when the blue sparkling lights come on the windows after sunset.....
I can imaging when snow falls in the Blue Mountains, this place will be even more attractive.
It was such a lovely get away that we will certainly refer to all our friends and come back here again.

Eclectic, very European decor with total eye for detail! The beds, the linen and pillows of finest quality. Amazing host, Chris, truly made us feel at home in his stately home!! Great location close to all the good lookouts and close enough to restaurants. Beautiful discovery

We recently enjoyed three relaxing nights in a warm comfortable room. Our host, Chris, managed everything to our satisfaction: COVID safety, tasty filling breakfasts, the log fireplace and the complimentary port located just above said fireplace. Well located for exploring Blackheath and the Blue Mountains. Recommended.

Kubba Roonga means Peaceful Place...and it is. It is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable.Chris is a delightful host. Breakfast was yum....as was our Devonshire teas yesterday. Highly recommended.

Wonderful weekend getaway to the Blue Mountains and what a pleasure staying in a quaint, historic B&B run with such enthusiasm by its owners. Chris our host couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable and cater to our needs. Our room was lovely and exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a lovely view onto the front garden. Try the scones they are delicious and lovely breakfast included. We will be back! Suggest you book direct through their website as will get a better rate than through other online booking agents.

My partner and I had a lovely time at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse. What a truly home-away-from-home experience we had!! Chris, the host was absolutely caring and looked after our vegan dietary requirements so well. Local business like this needs more love and support as they put a lot of thoughts and care into what they do and you will realise that during your stay.
