Beautiful spot, with a gentle summit (possible for all ages, I saw kids doing it too) up the rocky cliff face, you can get a great view. It is especially serene at sunset (see photos) and is appropriate for all ages. I saw many family's with young children. It is only a short 2 minute walk from the allocated dirt parking.

That said, there is a mildly long dirt road with a few bumps but all cars can access it as long as they're not extremely low and aren't going too quick. Few blind corners but safe if you're alert!

Incredibly beautiful rocks, other than that, its all bushes but definitely worth a go! Just very short walk from carpark!

The road in is all dirt road which can be abit scary with the sharp turns so just try to fight the urge to speed cause there can be close calls with incoming cars!

This is an awesome eroded cave and it really is amazing to see what nature has done to the rock face. An easy spot to get to. You can drive to the car park and the caves are less than a 5 minute walk to get to. The last few kilometres are a dirt road and if you take your time most cars can make the drive. Really nice natural feature.

One of the most interesting and lesser visited spots in the Blue Mountains. Super memorable and will definitely want to bring friends here for a visit. Amazing to contemplate the forming of the rocks over millions of years, and to appreciate this beautiful and sacred space in all its fullness.

5km unsealed road to get here, which wasn’t too bad going slow in our 2WD vehicle. Easy walk, a few steps from the car park. It was an interesting sight like no other I’ve seen in the Blue Mountains! Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

Really nice to sit under the shelter of the cave and enjoy an awesome view. The climb (crawl) up was not too difficult on a dry and sunny day. As most reviews mention, it is slightly off track so you really get to enjoy the cave privately or in small groups.

Fantastic marvel of nature. A short walk from Anvil Rock carpark. Photos do not do this place justice.

Be prepared to drive on dirt roads with gravels and potholes, but worth getting out there and just enjoy.

Bit off the beaten track, fun dirt road drive at the end. Nice little cave. Anvil rock close by was even better IMO.

Make a detour to this site, as the cave is really different and worth a visit. About 30 metres high and scooped over, the rock formations are highly unusual.

What an amazing place, there is some dirt road that you need to cover before you reach this spot.
