The Cosmetics Company Store

I’ve been to this store a few times to purchase MAC products at discounted prices. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. When I went during the mid year sales there were further discounts on all the reduced prices. Great time to stock up on products.

I visited the store today as I was looking for some new skincare products. I was assisted by a delightful young lady called Bec. Her product knowledge and service was fantastic and I left the store feeling very happy. I will definitely be back when I need to re stock. Thank you Bec for looking after me so well 😊

The first time I went into the store I had four kids under 10 with me, the lady behind the counter was so professional and friendly towards our group, no snappy remarked towards the kids or over hovering to make sure they kids don't touch the product. It made an impression so I made the extra effort in going back when all the kids were at school.

I walked into the clean well stocked store and was greetedby the friendly and professional staff members. I ask whether they could do foundation matching for me, the staff member was open and transparent about the fact that they do not provide this service, but she was happy to help me with samples and the final decision on which colour was up to me. True to her words she was very helpful, we tried a couple of shades of bobby brown foundation them moved on with the MAC foundations. I was very happy with my purchase.

Then I asked whether they stocked the Clinique overnight mask, she knew exactly what I was after and went into details usage.

Great value, excellent service! I will definitely be back.

I wouldn’t say I got service from Rebecca but I went to purchase makeup, i told her which one I needed it scanned at $50.40 I then went and checked and it was $48 but she has grabbed the $50.40 one.. I then asked if I could purchase the $48 one- excactly the same product she said no ripped it out of my hand and said I don’t have to cos of acccc. I’m not sure why they would put prices on their products when they can just make up prices on the spot?? Rebecca C also had their version of the accc paperwork there which wasn’t correct. Clearly they always are stuffing up and need a piece of paper to try and bluff the everyday consumer. It’s only $2 in the scheme of things but it’s extremely poor service!! They need a complete overhaul in there!!! Pathetic customer service and processes.

I was reading all the reviews and i thought ill give them the benefit of the doubt but all the bad reviews are true. If dont know what you should be purchasing, then dont bother they dont help. Almost like their told to be not to be friendly to their customers.
Go to any store in harbour town n there so kind except this store AVOID and make up also feels like knock offs.
If i can give them minus 5 i would!

The worst customer service I have ever experience. Spent 10mins in a 2 person queue while the staff gas bagged with a customer no intention to hurry up and open a second till. Ended up walking out. DO NOT VISIT. The store in Harbour Town. The lack of respect or regard for paying customers blew my mind. Blatantly ignoring customers who are asking for assistance.

Everytime I come here and purchase something I’ve always have a bad experience, the workers are super rude and need to work on their customer service. Everytime I go up to pay they don’t seem to have any patience and seem to also have an attitude. This store needs to figure it out and go through training again because it’s happening over and over. Sick of it because at this point i’m just trying to avoid certain workers in order to go into the store.

No different from the reviews given already . The serving lady was so cunning . Store staff particular one lady Behaviour was very rude. Well it’s my experience . Hopefully will not same for everyone.

See your rude and cunning behaviour made me write some extra words . Please avoid to scold customer if you can . By your simple act you can ruin somebody day . Think how would you feel if you were on my place . Hope you will get the message till lady .

Worst shopping experience! Was asking a staff called Kim for a tester of foundation as the shade I’m after wasn’t available. she told me I gotta know it by myself. And receipt of the purchase says the product is not refundable. Also I was unattended the whole time and the staff was hiding behind the counter when I tried to seek for help. The terrible service really made me depressed for the rest of the day. I would give minus rating If I could.

The worst experience in this store! I purchased a serum pack and after I got home I checked the date just realised it was going to be expired very soon! I returned to the store and the staff was so rude and unprofessional and refused my refund request. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT SEE UNFRIENDLY STAFF AND BUY EXPIRE SOON PRODUCTS!!!

Today my partner went to The Cosmetics Company Store in DFO, she was treated poorly and had the worse experience from one of the staff member (Marry). She was being really rude towards her which she felt like leaving the DFO centre.

Would give minus if I could went into the harbour town store yesterday with a friend to buy a perfume was accused of stealing asked for the items back I’ve never stolen in my life let alone thought about it and I was actually very upset ruined the whole day chose to leave the center completely as I was worried I would be marked as a theif :( the lady was so rude so mean and Absoutley degraded me and my friend then when I asked her to check the cctv so she could apologise she refused and berated me some more :( horrifying
