For a small coastal town it's a great venue. Run by volunteers so hours are limited. Lovely balcony over looking the beach, very friendly, great local atmosphere.

We had a lovely time at the beach. The view there is fabulous and the outdoor shower and indoor cold showers/change rooms/toilets helped to clean off afterwards. The flags and lifeguards made us feel safer, although their services weren't needed thankfully. There were at least 5 or 6 lifeguards on duty with vehicle ready and watching vigilantly. The kiosk there serves pies and ice blocks and things, although we didn't buy any.
