Amara Organic Hair Salon

Hello, I want to share my experience at this beautiful and professional hair salon. I waited a few days because generally, you leave the salon looking splendid, but after two days, when you have to style your hair yourself, it’s not the same. Well, I must tell you that I had a wonderful afternoon. The staff treated me marvelously; everyone is very kind, and the place is impeccable. They offered me delicious treats when I arrived—a lovely coffee with cookies—and then, halfway through my session, a wonderful tea in such a cozy environment. I spent three hours there and was able to work while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and calm music.

The result of my treatment was excellent and exceeded my expectations, both when I left the salon and after a few days at home. Needless to say, Nachelle explained to me throughout the process what she was doing and how my hair would look afterward. She was very careful with her advice and the procedures to follow, both now and in the future. Super friendly and professional. Highly recommended. I already have my next appointment booked.

I’m super happy with my full head foils! Gin did an amazing job transforming my hair from orange brown to a stunning ash blonde. It's fantastic that they use organic products that are gentle on my hair. Love the colour result and the excellent customer service. I had a haircut and colour whilst experiencing mild migraine. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted, but I was impressed and touched by the high level of care, attention to detail and accomodations that I was provided to ensure my migraine did not get worse over the course of the service. The salon in burleigh is really beautiful, the layout and touches are very intentional to make you feel like you are in a sanctuary, and customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend the very experienced Nachelle, who was my hairdresser.

Had a warm welcome by Tom and asked me what I am hoping to get end of the appointment and explained to me the step we are going through. Can’t forget to mentioned what a good head massage it was. Had an amazing curly hair cut and I am loving the new style new me. I am not used to having crunch hair maybe because of bit too much product😉 but I do appreciate how much effort he have put on the curly hair and gave me amazing volume that was my main goal. Thank you so much Tom. This will be my go to hair salon😊

Amara Organic Hair Salon at Burleigh Heads was fantastic. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The hairdressers looked after 4 of us so well, and helped us get ready for a family wedding.
It was my young daughters first trip to the salon, and she was made to feel relaxed and excited about getting her hair done.
The scalp massage shampoo is a must!
The team was professional, talented and welcoming.

I am so very happy with curly cut from Tom this morning at Burleigh Heads. He was so patient and caring and has done an outstanding job with the cut on my very thick hair. He also gave me wonderful product advice to best look after the curls. So many compliments in only a few hours. Highly recommend this salon and Tom. Will definitely be back again. So happy to find a salon and hair stylist that understands curls/waves.

Wow , what a lovely experience. A great atmosphere of friendly, professional and creative people. Loved the chill room upstairs to relax while treatment soaks into your hair, rather than wait in a busy salon. Relaxing chairs, coffee n cake, soft lighting and music. Divine. Not to mention an Awesome colour and style by Tom. Thank you so much. It was a little like going to a day spa. So therapeutic ..will be back . Love my hair 🤎

I had a keratin treatment at Amara. The best experience I’ve ever had. They use the organic products which gives my hair healthier & shiner again. Jenny did my hair and she is a very knowledgeable and passionate hairdresser. All the staff members are fun, friendly and welcoming to me and it’s a peaceful & relaxing salon indeed. Thank you Amara! I had a fringe and some face framing cut by Alicia and it was a fantastic experience. Alicia understood the vision for my hair and style holistically, and made me very comfortable. She cut my hair very carefully to get it juuuuust right and the result was beautiful and just what I had envisioned. As someone who is very nervous about getting haircuts, Alicia was the perfect stylist to visit. I will absolutely be back :)

When I walked into the salon I was greeted by the lovely Tom. He made me feel comfortable and welcomed while I waited for my turn. Yanin washed, massaged and styled my hair perfectly and made me feel wonderful. Fantastic experience, would highly recommend and will be returning.

Last weekend I had a cut and up-do with Skye at the Broadbeach location, and it was such a lovely experience.
Skye took a lot of time to get to know me & my hair habits to ensure that the cut was exactly what I wanted.
For my up do, I showed her the dress I would be wearing to the event and the details of the event, and we brainstormed together what would be suitable. She checked in frequently to ensure what she was creating was what I wanted, all whilst maintaining a lovely flowing conversation.

I highly recommend this salon: both for daily upkeep and up dos for all your events!

Finally a hair salon on the Gold Coast that uses the best organic hair products and has amazing staff! I had my foils over the weekend with Marj and am so happy with the result. She’s great at her job and so lovely with her clients. The manager/owner of the salon is also so lovely. You can tell how much they care about their job and customers. Highly recommend this place.
