Beautiful little picnic area right out in the aussie bush. Some mineral springs you can collect your water from if you bring bottles from home. Peaceful and serene spot for family BBQ. Towering old gum trees and ground cover of bracken and ferns...
Quite a lot of parking space. Perfect spot to get away from the bustle of busy life outside...!

Awesome. Fresh bubbly natural water. I would liken it to soda water more than water, amazing. Filled as many bottles we had (come prepared with empty bottles). Beautiful spot for a picnic. Beautiful drive into the area. Lots of photo opportunities. Ok you can't go bathing anymore (council should rebuild the bathing area) but the drinking water is devine. Hidden secret. Highly recommended.

Is my special place..its down in a valley, the loddon river flows through on its way north..is so peaceful with lots of birdsong..just a nice restful place with a mineral spring..been comin here 30+ years..☺☺

Good starting point for a circuit walk over Babbington Hill, via Bullarto Reservoir it's an easy 10 k walk.

The July 2021 storms have absolutely decimated this beauty spot. Hundreds of fallen trees surround the spring. Facilities are spartan.

Currently closed due to storm damage, but instead of putting the signage at the turn off, they let you drive all the way in before telling you 🤣
