A fantastic lunch experience. Great food, service and value. We couldn’t get a booking so went on waiting list. Within minutes I received a call and we were squeezed in. The place was packed and yet we got served quickly and efficiently. The duck curry was superb.

We enjoyed a fantastic family gathering for lunch at the Stanley Pub yesterday. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant - highly recommend. The autumn 🍁 colours haven't yet hit their peak - it's a brilliant place in NE Vic to enjoy the wonderful Autumn colours ❤

Such a beautiful, eclectic space! Great fresh, flavour filled food with many options. So good we had two meals here so we could work through the menu!

The Stanley Classic and Korean Parmies were brilliant: Large schnitzels with lots of quality toppings. Fried white bait was absolutely delicious with the local Stanley lager and chestnut/honey brew. Super friendly staff...great job! Definitely coming back. 😎✨

This is the third time I’ve dined at this amazing pub.. this is my first review.
Service is excellent, friendly and attentive, the food is just stunning Asian inspired and fresh ingredients and the atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable. Wines are local and delicious. Will kept coming back to this amazing pub.. everyone that works there should be proud of themselves

Great day out at the Stanley Pub yesterday! fabulous “Feed Me” for 6 people…….sit back relax and enjoy being wined and dined by Stanley’s fabulous staff! Great food, great music, wonderful atmosphere and don’t forget to grab an amazing sweet treat (highly recommend Bread n Butter pud) from the cafe for the car trip home……

Ventured back to The Stanley Pub, a mere 10 km up the hill from Beechworth, and it remains a culinary gem. Under the dynamic guidance of licensee Sally Wright, this pub is weaving exceptional hospitality with rich history. Sally, not just a seasoned chef but a vibrant and often hilarious host, makes every visit memorable.

This time, collaborating with Sally and her team for a photoshoot showcased the pub's charm for their updated website and social content. Having witnessed the pub's evolution under Sally's leadership since its opening 12 months ago, the upgraded beer garden is a delight and exactly what is needed for lazy weekend lunches in the NE Victoria sunshine, and the Stanley Produce Store is a delightful addition offering produce, wine, unreal coffee and light lunches.

The Stanley Pub isn't just a dining spot; it's an energetic, flavourful experience with an Asian flair. Whether local or visiting the region, it promises an unforgettable journey through expertly crafted dishes, a fabulous drinks list, and inviting ambiance. Delicious Asian food, a personal favourite, The Stanley Pub offers plenty of choice. The garden was a gorgeous place to sit in Autumn sunshine. The staff were welcoming, service, spot on and the pub's fresh fit out matched the country feel but also reflected it's Asian themed menu. The wine list is extensive and offers choices by the bottle & glass which represent the local wine region. There is also great coffee, sandwiches & cake to enjoy earlier in the day. It felt equally as welcoming to locals enjoying a pint & snack at the bar as to visitors enjoying a great dinner out.

I would call this place an oasis if I was in desert country. A beautiful old pub full of character and ambience. Fortunately, or unfortunately, it's the only place to purchase food in the area so an absolute mecca for folk exploring the area. Great friendly service, great food and great to sit down and enjoy some tucker. If you like us are poking around in the hills and forests and are looking for somewhere to eat this, is it. It won't disappoint.

Wonderful pub with all the atmosphere to make for a really enjoyable experience. Loved that many local wines were offered. We enjoyed the lamb shank, the special perch and sticky date pudding. The merlot and pinot were excellent.

What a wonderful treasure. Amazing food and great atmosphere with relaxing music. The interior is gorgeous and the staff were friendly and efficient. I thoroughly recommend including this pub on your itinerary, just 9km from Beechworth.

The local brew is pretty good too.

Welcoming country pub. Our lunch group of four enjoyed all of our meals. We ordered Venison Tataki, Miso Fried Chicken, Lamb Shank , Tempura Fish with Sticky Date Pudding and Affogato for dessert. We were in the naturally lit dining room and although it was mostly full we were still easily able to hear each other talk. Very attentive, friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We spoke with three different staff through and everyone was extremely nice.

The bartender was very helpful and genuinely interested in what I thought of all of the drinks and the wait staff were very helpful and actually quite funny.

The vibe inside was super nice and the food was sensational.

Took a friend from Melbourne here. He was thoroughly impressed as were we. Food superb eye fillet , duck curry enjoyed. Great wine selection. Expect to pay a bit more than average pub, but you get what you pay for. Excellent food, great local craft beers and wine. Sitting room by open fire place for a before or after drink. Welcoming staff, helpful with menu advice. Delicious pan Asian food incorporating some local produce. Great beverage list showcasing quality local producers. Fairly long wait for food on a busy Easter Saturday (understandable) but well handled by attentive staff.

Great pub. Best Japanese/ Asian inspired food in the region. Staff are all really friendly and attentive. Good variety to choose from, and everything we tried so far is delicious!

What a fabulous unexpected find while I was roaming the hills between Bright and Myrtleford . Rounded the corner and came across this charming old pub with wooden chairs & tables under the wisteria . Old character interior with cafe and deli, I sat outside and had a wine with lunch. Well worth the drive
