It is a pretty good store. Usually very clean and well stocked. The cashiers and other staff are friendly

All the supermarket. Think the buy bags are to expensive. And you are lucky to get the grocerys home and then clean up what is broken mess then they have to go back búy more and buy more bags for it to happen again over and over

This can at times be an exceptionally busy Aldi - and parking can be a bit difficult at peak times/school pick up times, especially if trying to park with a trailer. Hope the new Aldi in Pakenham opens soon - it is much needed. Meanwhile, staff keep stock up pretty well and are always helpful and polite. Got to love the savings compared with other supermarkets. Often go off to the Aldi at Beaconsfield, but no wine section, and we do love Aldi Red and White casks...... top wines at drinkable prices

After years of shopping at Coles I've found I can save $50 or more by purchasing certain items from Aldi.
Cheese, meat and frozen chips just to name a few and the quality is better.

Gilroy should not only be the face of Aldi, he should be the picture you see when you look up "Australian of the Year" on Google. ALDI,
keep that man at all costs and give him a raise while you're at it.

The rubbish bin behind the shop is always filled with goodies for containering

The renovations they did here were one of the first in the area.
It's a very nice look.
Prices are still better than other stores, and the variety of special products is always interesting.

A great place to visit most commonly for our household needs. Their product price is still not increased high due to pandemic not like Coles.
I like they sometimes sale trees and some good products and enjoy shopping most of the times.

My thoughts on Aldi are very much in line with most people's thoughts on Aldi. As their slogan states, they are certainly 'good, different', so much so, in fact, that many of the products clean up in the consumer choice awards on a yearly basis despite being the cheapest on the market. Quality is not one of the values that are comprimised here in order to reduce the prices, so you really can't lose.
Variety is somewhat limited as far as brands go, there may be only one brand and 3 flavours, for instance, but much of what you get is both better and cheaper and I only really see the inability to chose from 5 brands being advantageous to those who, like me, have dietary restrictions or requirements, and are attempting to find ingredients that agree with their diet. However, Aldi does make a fantastic effort at catering to such issues and offer a decent range of items that are gluten-free (Coeliacs like me can rejoice!) or vegan, etc.
Those who are yet to form or nurture a relationship with Aldi should definitely give it a go, particularly with the nightmare price hikes occurring at the major supermarkets and the savings from converting can really slash a person's grocery costs.
The only catch is that you need to pack your own groceries, and if the savings alone doesn't make this worth it then hire a helper with all the money you just saved!

We've only just shopping at Aldi and so far the prices are great. The range of products is of course a lot less than the other stores but still great quality and you can still find what you're looking for, the store is clean with friendly staff.

Also is fantastic, I particularly love the special items. Staff here are polite and fast and the store has plenty of variety. It's usually easy to get a parking spot, but can get busy at times. Close to other shops so you can do all your shopping at once.

Very bad situation was bestowed on my Chinese wife.Apparently they have a policy that they want to look in every ones private bags. But my wife was singled out in front of cotomers . And told to open her bag.Other people where not instructed to do the same. This smacks of racial discrimination. She was very upset. As i was .She wanted to take it further, But i explained we would get no where against.Such a big company.

Even though the car park at Aldi Lakeside is dangerous, the shop itself is good. We only started shopping at Aldi last year. We still have to shop elsewhere for a lot of our things but we are buying quite a few items from Aldi now.

It's typical Aldi in that sometimes the aisles are very crowded with restocking pallets, and the checkouts could do with extras being opened a bit quicker, but there is one particular young man, no matter how busy it is, he's wonderful. I love him
