We had a fabulous time here for my birthday weekend. Accommodation was amazing, so clean and everything we needed.
Afternoon drinks and dinner was just fantastic. We had a lot of fun relaxing and enjoying the English atmosphere and lovely food. So much to choose from . Justin and his staff were very accommodating. Loved every minute of our stay

Great atmosphere and food. Ordered the welsh rarebit which is done similar to a garlic bread. Which was tasty and a nice different taste. My friend loved the beer they had.
They have British, Irish and Scottish themed rooms which all look amazing.
It was a little bit of a drive but it was definitely worth it.

Authentic British Pub on the Gold Coast.
The atmosphere was amazing with a wood fire burning and a variety of English trinkets scattered throughout the venue. It even has an old English bus parked out the front.
I could not fault the food or the service. The waitresses were attentive and great help with the menu. I got the English roast inside a Yorkshire pudding.
Parking can be a problem as the place is really busy, so you might have to park up the hill and walk.
You will need to book as the place is a very popular venue for family gatherings.
I loved the experience and will certainly be back.

We stayed at Songbirds Retreat on Good Friday night but due to the Restaurant being so expensive there and the chef being quite rude to us when we said we were coming for dinner, we decided to go to the Fox and the Hound. My partner is from Brazil and had never been to a traditional English Pub. She absolutely loved it. All the English memorabilia is fantastic and the photos of the Queen are great. Great place, great service, great atmosphere and great food.

Amazing food for both vegans and meat eaters! The Vegan Lasagna was possibly the best I’ve had and the Vegan Carrot Cake was also delicious. A great atmosphere and welcoming staff - I would definitely come back.

Went for dinner tonight for our anniversary. There is one word for the food we had - perfect. Our waitress Chelsea was absolutely lovely. Nice atmosphere & even when it got busy we could still hear each other talk. Definitely coming back :-)

Had a lovely time at Fox and Hound on St. Paddy's day! The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. We did have a couple mix ups, but staff handled it smoothly. It felt like going home to the family for dinner.

The decor is so fun and the environment is lovely. Did I mention you can do a murder mystery with your friends? How exciting!

Food was delicious! I was surprised and delighted by the array of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. I will absolutely be back to try the vegan lasagne!

Stopped by around 1 pm on Sunday, we were lucky to get a table- suggest that booking ahead might be a good plan. The venue is great and so was our lunch so we could see why the place was so busy
We will certainly return when next taking a drive through Mt Tambourine
Returned last night for the first Winter Solstice dinner event put on at the F&H. Great evening was had, wonderfully friendly people and a great experience with great food

First time visiting the old English pub, it reminded me of home. Great food, great staff! Will definitely come again. The roast was easily the best on the Gold Coast. Loved it.

Went for a light lunch. Had arancini balls, which came served in an Italian tomato sauce and partisan...very tasty and the Welsh rare bird. Nice spin on an old favourite. More of a focaccia style base rather than the traditional toast. Very generous serve. Lots to choose from a very extensive menu Like all the British memorabilia and quirky decor. Well worth a visit, doubt you would be disappointed.I

Lovely gem that we found. The food was incredible, and the service was so good. The atmosphere transported me back to the UK. Thank you for creating such a special place for people to come to feel like they’ve hopped on a plane and landed in a different country. ☺

Fantastic place, amazing food and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.
Highly recommend.
Yet to be apart of the murder mystery night, but sounded like fun when we were there.

Celebrated my son's 28th birthday there on Friday night. What a quaint place to have dinner. Fabulous English/Irish atmosphere, food was superb, beer was great, service excellent. Will definitely come back again when in QLD for lunch.

Beautiful British pub! Love the aesthetic and the atmosphere. There is not a lot of reception up on the mountain, which does help us enjoy a bit of leisure.
Parking is a bit tight within the location, but there is plenty of parking on the street.

This is a great venue with lovely staff and a very good ambience. I was so excited to eat all of the dishes I had when I was growing up in the UK.
This is a must to visit & enjoy 😉

Had the guineas pie. Amazing. Make sure you are hungry when you order it. It's huge! So delicious though, worth the unbuckle of the belt afterwards

If you are looking for a traditional English pub then this is the place for you!
I’ve never been to England and up until I went to the Fox and Hound I had no interest in going, but after a night of live music (some fun song requests), and tasty food, if that’s what England is like I wouldn’t mind checking it out 😂

Great night out and I’ve been back since, and can verify it’s just as good second time round.
