Annie's Garden Cafe

A quirky, relaxed cafe and nursery, located within a large acreage property. It felt more like visiting family for an outdoor get-together than it did entering a business. And that's a big compliment. Annie was extremely hospitable and her service was excellent.

We both ordered a cuppa and a Sunday roast which, according to other reviewers, were a safe bet. Indeed, both meals and drinks were lovely and filling, to say the least. The roasts were home-made, loaded with veges, ample meat, and a good lashing of gravy. If anything, the pork was a little dry but, as most of us know, that's what pork does best! This didn't impact the overall experience and we happily left empty plates in our wake.

Overall, the serene environment, yard filled with chickens, peacocks and some very grumpy geese, warm and inviting service, and good quality meals made this a rewarding experience.

You don't know what you have missed if you have NEVER been to Annie's Garden Cafe. Walking through the gates l found l was walking into a very relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Sure you have the Rooster doing his job. Plus the Peacocks strutting around for a lady !!!. The show of feathers is amazing. Not to mention the Food. That lady knows how to cook. Everything just ran smoothly, with so many orders to fill. I have not eaten a meal there that l have not thoroughly enjoyed. The Roast of the day was so huge - the meal included everything you would prepare for a Roast at home. The Price is within the range of eating out. Then there is Annie - what more can l say. She is one of the Beautiful People on this Earth that oozes so much love, understanding and caring. Thanks Annie for "being yourself".

Sadly shutting down later in December. Please come and experience it before then. Worth the trip.

We visited Annie’s Garden Cafe today for the first time, it won’t be the last. Annie is a pure delight, her place is lovely, some great different plants. Great food. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the warm welcome Annie.

Decent coffee. Good scones. Reasonable prices. Great range of native plants. Souvenirs. Friendly. Ponies and peacocks wandering past. Rockabilly jukebox & decor. Genuine country charm.

Lovely sheltered outdoor tables scattered around a beautiful sub-tropical garden and nursery. Very helpful and thoughtful owner. Food was excellent and generous in portion. Divine iced mocha.

Sunday roast was very tasty. Huge range of native plants at reasonable prices. Keep an eye out for the miniature horses!

Owner and cook is lovely. The lightest batter on the fish I can remember having. Well worth a stop for a bite to eat with the peacocks.

Great local cafe, suitated in a well priced garden shop. The roasts are very popular with the locals. Also sells locally created art.

A little Nirvana in a lush tropical nursery setting. Home made food and pleasant ambience. Easy to miss the entrance from the road.

Great food, friendly host and chef. Relaxing atmosphere, lots of animals. Highly recommended!
