Lush cafe & bar

First time dining. We weren’t disappointed. This may become our regular. Lots of choices on the menu. We tried crab bruschetta, lobster mornay and salmon with prawns. It’s nice to eat something different to the usual pub /club fare. Atmosphere was very friendly!!

I had the chicken dumpling platter and it was so nice. An unusual combination but very tasty and well cooked. Highly recommend

Wow…. Is what I have to say about this restaurant. The team were really friendly and professional, they provided excellent service from start to finish.

The food is an extremely high standard, cooked to perfection. If I could give this place 100 stars I would.

As my wife and I were heading to the snowy mountain we found this cafe located 5 min after you enter the goulborn. We had florentine and bacon egg cheese with black coffee and chai latte. Food was amazing. Love the vibe and the staff was very kind and humble. Will be back if heading this way. 🇳🇵

Though small, the cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly situated as an ideal rest stop for travelers navigating between these two cities. Opting to sit outside, I was able to bask in the morning light, enjoying the tranquil beauty that Australia has to offer. The staff were exceptionally attentive, not just to human guests but to our furry companions as well, providing a bowl of water for our dog and making it feel just as welcomed.

The food here is not just delicious, but a form of art. Each dish is prepared with care, combining exquisite flavors with beautiful presentation, allowing guests to appreciate the effort and creativity behind each meal. Whether it’s the classic Australian breakfast or the cafe’s signature dishes, every bite is memorable.

What impressed me most was the staff's dedication to ensuring every guest, including our four-legged friends, felt at home. This breakfast spot is a must-visit for anyone traveling between Sydney and Canberra, looking for a comfortable place to rest and recharge with some truly exceptional food.

First impressions, very clean and organised. Prompt attention from staff. I tried the pumpkin soup, The husband pasta boscaiola. Both delicious and hot. A quick stop at the bathroom showed attention to detail here as well, very clean. Thank you Lush Cafe

The food at Lush Cafe is fantastic, really good sized meals and absolutely delicious. Considering the size of the meals, the value for money is excellent.

A great atmosphere with plenty of space and first class service - I can highly recommend every aspect of this local business.

Wonderful service, delicious food with good portion size, beautiful atmosphere, and the owner is so lovely and accommodating. He even made my nan and I an off the menu item! Couldn’t recommend Lush more!

I had a rib eye steak with h salad and veggies and the whole meal was just superb. Great to see the two chefs in action as well.

The 2 girls manning the counter were very competent and very friendly, on a very busy night.

I highly recommend this restaurant which is charging the same prices as some pubs / hotels but with a far superior offering . I will be back.

Just had the most amazing lunch here in Goulburn
Had the chicken tornado - chicken breast wrapped in bacon with Sweet beautiful creamy garlic prawns over the top, and veggies with a silky mash
Also the butter Lemon salmon cooked to perfection
We were starving when we arrived and didn’t think to take pics lol
Staff were lovely and the servings were generous

Lush cafe and bar is the best restaurant in goulburn! A luxe atmosphere and very friendly service with innovative and tasty dishes.Wow! Its a must visit. Dog friendly outside too.Lots of veggie options as well. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks.Easy to book by phone and would recommend doing so as Lush is very popular and we can see why. We love it and we are already booking our next visit.5 star in every way.

The steak sandwich is amazing and the dumplings are fab. Also wonderful atmosphere. Would bring my mother here.

Went there for dinner as we were driving through town. The ladies who served us were absolutely lovely and very good with our kids. The food was delicious, coffee excellent. When going on a long drive, it is so worth getting off the highway and finding a place where people love what they do.

Amazing space, food and service … it was hard to pick off a great menu, choose the lobster mornay and it was divine … will definitely be back
