Casuarina Beach

Great beach for a long, secluded walk. Plenty of space even when it's busy. If you bring a dog, keep them on the leash as rangers are known to issue fines to owners outside the off-leash area.

Just one of the many pretty things at the beach :) Goat's Foot or Bayhops is a primary sand stabiliser, being one of the first plants to colonise dunes. It grows on almost all parts of dunes but is usually found on the seaward slopes, sending long runners down towards the toe of the dune. It is one of the most common and most widely distributed salt tolerant plants and provides one of the best known examples of oceanic dispersal. Its seeds float and are unaffected by salt water.

The beach was absolutely stunning, much like the many others in Australia.

Love my home beach. Always uncrowded and amazing. Perfect for family and the dog. Life gaurds further down near salt.

As me I live here and I go surfing nearly every morning sometime the waves are a bit dodgy but on a good day for surf it is great

Super calm beach in the quiet suburb of Casuarina. During Easter holidays I only saw 1 or 2 lifeguard stations.

Squeaky clean sand. One of the quietest most accessible pristine beaches i have visited outside of tasmania. its like tassie just warmer :) bordered by reserves and lovely playgrounds away from the strip - a private retreat.
