Have visited many times, so you can tell I absolutely love going to the Catalina Grill House. After losing one local food venue, and another with super limited opening hours, I don't mind travelling 10 minutes to the Grill House. The food is great, can't complain about the service, and the setting is hard to beat. I only took a photo of my lunch today. I'll try and take more photos in future, as we grazed all day!

After a great day checking out the history of the Catalina flying boats in the museum next door. I had to check out the Catalina Burger in the cafe. And yes it was as good as it looked.

We had a fabulous big breakfast and coffee. Staff were very obliging. It was lovely sitting in the sun and enjoying it. Would recommend stopping here and visiting museum and having a bite to eat.

We dropped in here for lunch and our meals and coffee's were really good. We would most certainly recommend this Cafe with its beautiful views overlooking the lake. Great place for people touring on buses to drop in for a meal break 👌

So Grateful that we have a cafe, on the lake, in a very small rural town.
A beautiful lake. Good coffee with wonderful families or friends.
A new establishment with a bright future.
Time to focus on what is important in life…… and not ‘ First World Problems’!
Try the ice cream.

I’ve visited twice. Menu was quite limited for lunch (unless you like hamburgers). Went the next time for breakfast. The staff were nice. The food was of generally off a good quality however the portions were very small. We ordered the serviceman’s big breaky. They did give a reasonable amount of bacon but the rest was quite small portions. The bread they used was normal white sliced bread, they have one small sausage and for the mushrooms they have one mushroom. I think the mushrooms was the most surprising part. It wasn’t a big mushroom either. The avocado was smashed avo and they have about a tablespoons worth. Quality was good but it didn’t feel worth the price.

$12 plus .50 (milk) plus 15% weekend surcharge plus credit card surcharge is the dearest I have paid anywhere in the world for a standard pot of tea. Food was good but we will not be back

Can’t order anything but waffles between 10:30-11am. Food was alright but expensive for what we received, iced drinks were charged at more than what the menu said and very basic for what we paid. It was a long wait, dined with friends but didn’t eat together as meals come out separately and half the drinks didn’t come until after our meals had been finished. The coffee was not was we ordered but had waited to long to bother saying anything. Would try again at a later time but wouldn’t be returning in a hurry.

Ordered home made pies and chips, chips came out first then pies 15 minute later. Pies were a dry mix of mince and onion and no gravy in the meat at all. Very disappointing and expensive to say the least for what we paid.

I had high hopes that Lake Boga may actually have something worth coming too when I visited the “Grill House” but I was very disappointed the name is one of many disappointments, A grill house with no steaks very bizarre. Ordered a (Thick Shake) revived a milk shake with no flavour twice and was treated like dirt when I asked them to remake it.
I write this review while waiting on 2 kids waffles and 1 adult waffle 30 minutes in.
Very disappointed. $65 wasted
