Glendambo Ampol Roadhouse

There are two petrol stations in Glendambo. I stayed a week. The chicken schnitzel with peppercorn sauce. The donuts are warm. The cook is amazing.

Had an amazing ham and salad sandwich and an egg and lettuce sandwich here. The toilets and eating areas were kept clean and staff friendly.

Friendly efficient staff, clean toilets. Large selection of snacks and drinks. We shared a steak sandwich with the lot and appreciated that it had been cut in half for us :) it was served promptly in the clean dining area and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

Just stopped by on our way to Alice for fuel and had the cheeseburger. Considering how remote the location is, the burger was both reasonably priced and pretty tasty. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch. The lady who seved customers and making the burgers was also very polite.

Hands down the best & cleanest roadhouse between Adelaide to Darwin. If only they were all like this!! The service is great & friendly. Called in this morning heading home via Adelaide and grabbed a freshly made egg n bacon sanga which was banging!! Also witnessed someone paying for someone else’s fuel by mistake but paid it forward telling them to not worry about it and have a great day. Was such an awesome gesture to witness!! Make this a fuel stop on your journey as it just leaves all the others on this route for absolute dust.

Stop here for fuel, food and drink. It was busy. Truckie also stop here.

I had a few basic groceries to get, just the staples really, all were available plus some. I also required a Telstra prepaid SIM and they had them available and advised that there was coverage at the Ampol roadhouse. Very helpful. Will with a stop in. Oh and a great Cap coffee as well thanks.

The service was really nice with friendly people. We stopped way to Coober Pedy and back to Adelaide. We ordered 3 burgers and all were legit real meat with fresh vegetables. They were so tasty and will be back again for having these burgers. I highly recommend stop there and have burgers!

Fantastic service. The local caravan park puts pressure on the petrol station to not allow free camping. The petrol station needs to fight this, as instead of staying here and buying dinner we drove further down the road and camped for free. One business should not ruin he profits of other businesses due to their own greed.

Friendly staff, good and cheap food and also cool inside. Definitely stop here to get your fuel and food fix!

Toilets are what you expect of a servo toilet in the middle nowhere surrender but red dirt but they aren’t untidy or dirty.

Iv never had a better bacon and egg sandwich anywhere else! Made fresh 10 times better than a fancy cafe!

We had a quick break out there after a couple hour drive.
After a week with the family we needed someone else to talk to and the bloke was awesome.
Another customer turned up and he finished his conversation with us before serving the next bloke.
