Avoca Motel

Stayed here for 3 nights in July, it's a lovely place with spacious room. The place was clean and well cared for, the owners and workers were very friendly and attentive, surpassing all other motels I've stayed at. It's pretty much all you can ask for in a small town like Avoca, close to the center, great hospitality, and adequate amenities for your stay. Restaurants, bars and convenience stores are also just minutes away, would definitely recommend!!

Nice quiet tucked away motel run by a lovely couple who are super accommodating. Spend 90% of my time on the road working and I’ll be adding this one to my list of places to have a comfy quiet stop within walking distance of shops, supermarket and the local pub which does good meals also.

Had a delightful stay at the Avoca Motel. Candice was delightful to deal with and able to accomodate last minute changes to my booking. Rooms were spotless and really well appointed. Very quiet too and a great nights sleep. Thank you.

Friendly service, clean rooms. Our room was spacious with loads of storage space and surfaces for putting things down. The heating/cooling system was great and the beds very comfortable. Great wifi, too. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, taking care of everything we needed. Above and beyond!

Most people stay over just on their way somewhere else, but Avoca itself proved to be a really charming holiday spot for us. Despite the rainy weather we enjoyed some walks around the town and some chats with locals. We felt cosy and warm indoors, played lots of board games, hooked up our video games to the TV and never had trouble with the warm water or showers.

The shared rec shed had a good range of kitchen items, though not suitable for making full-blown meals or washing dishes. In winter it's pretty cold there, but the rooms are great to stay warm.

Highly recommend you stop here for the night. Beds were wonderful, pillows good quality, rooms very spacious and everything was clean. I have paid 3x this for 4 star hotels that didn’t have these standards. Well done.

We’re visiting from NZ to help an elderly family member who lives local. Our stay at Avoca motel has been amazing! The rooms are clean, comfortable and the hosts are very kind, hospitable and wonderful people.

Fairly typical county motel. One of the most reasonably priced motels around the area. Very good value. Large clean room. Minimal truck related noise. Simple breakfast available. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the silo art which is the main attraction there for us.

An overall great three star motel.

Absolutely loved our stay. Our room was very clean & inviting. The bed (king size) was extremely comfortable. Pricing was reasonable too.

Lovely motel for an overnight stay. Lovely room with a new bed. Owners unusually put on a free continental breakfast for guests. Great place. Easy walk to the shops too

older but clean rooms, great value for money, friendly staff, and they let me charge my (older, ChaDeMo, so can't use the fast charger in town) EV with no surcharge! 5 stars!!

I have the pleasure of staying here with my two young grandchildren for two night.
First thing i noticed was how lovely the room smelt.
Everything was A+ in cleanliness..bedding was comfy and we all slept like babies.
The owners are so friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
The only down fall is that we can not stay longer..have to go home some time. 😁

I had the most wonderful stay at Avoca Motel. The service from the owners was outstanding. They're so friendly and inviting you feel like you've known them for years. Service with a smile. The check in process was smooth and you can see how proud these two are of their business and they show real pleasure in welcoming you to their property and also to their town. Avoca is a beautiful little town and this hotel is perfectly positioned. The rooms are wonderful as is the surrounding area. There's a great communal space if you want to stick around the motel. Otherwise, everything is just a short walk away. Ask Andy and Candice for their advice and they'll recommend where to go and what to do. I'm looking forward to my next stay, I think I'll upgrade and go for a spa room next time and spend sometime in the Pyrenees wine region too.

Exceptionally clean room , comfy bed, well priced - but the stand out was the warm and kindly service from owner/managers Candice and Andy. Candice could not have been more helpful after we experienced vehicle difficulties. Absolute gem!

Wonderful managers who have thought & provided everything you need when you are away from home. Nothing is too much trouble for them to provide - even a cosy room with free breakfast available. Room facilities are totally spacious & adequate, comfy & warm. Great hospitality. Thank you both. We'll visit many more times. This has been our Motel of choice for years.

Great motel, beautifully clean, paint looks fresh, beds & shower look new, service was great, breakfast was amazing (crumpets, muffins, toast, 6 types of cereal, yoghurts & fruit!) - and great price, would highly recommend and really appreciated it. Wish all country motels were this lovely!

The owner, Candice, went above and beyond with personalized service. She made herself available pretty much 24/7 and has been nothing but warm and welcoming and accommodating. Thank you!
