Albert Hotel Daylesford

Loved our stay here. Room was neat, clean and tidy. Plenty of space and lots of privacy, with no way of hearing the noisey neighbours. The bed was luxurious and well kept, it felt homely but professional. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this accommodation. Ziggy the owner was friendly, helpful and hospitable. We appreciated the bottle of wine 🍷 on arrival.
We both admired the antique furniture, decor and paintings. The ambiance was relaxing, comforting and homey.
There are also modern well designed rooms available which are larger and well appointed for families and groups.
The continental breakfast was delicious.
The location is perfect as it’s close to the Main Street shops and eateries.
I highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the apartments with our own kitchen and spa. The bed was the most comfortable ever and Ziggy was a great host. Always nice to have Australian made toiletry products too.
Really good location, convenient to everything in town and a nice walk to Wombat Hill Botanic Park to admire the enormous trees.

I stayed at one of the spa apartments at the Mills for my honeymoon, and we really had the best time! We felt very relaxed and comfortable, and the location was just perfect - within walking distance to everything in town! Ziggy was a wonderful host who treated us like old friends. He even let us hold the 2000 Sydney Olympics torch (see attached photos). He had a bottle of wine and some chocolates ready for us upon arrival, which was a lovely touch! Ziggy and Elaine were extremely helpful and flexible with the booking over multiple lockdowns, and allowed me to move the booking stress free. Definitely book direct through them, either via the website, email or phone. Calling Ziggy directly would be best. He will look after you. We look forward to staying at the Mills again next time we're up in Daylesford! Welcome email and text messages were appreciated and easy to follow. The apartment was very clean and warm - such a thoughtful gesture to have the gas fire on to welcome us! Will definitely be back.

We stayed at one of the hotel's extra apartments and loved everything about it. From the start we were dealing with the owner, Ziggy, and he made the whole experience very welcoming. The apartment itself was clean, modern, had ample space inside and the location was perfect to stroll down to Daylesford without the hassle of driving the car.

Overall, we loved our two days in Daylesford and it had a lot to do with the apartment we stayed in and the lovely host that was great to chat with or help us with any queries. I recommend this place and rate it highly

My partner and I were beyond happy with this accommodation. Such a beautiful layout and room - we were obsessed with the place and did not want to leave. The owner Ziggy was so friendly, warm and welcoming - we were very grateful. We will definitely be coming back to Daylesford just to stay here again. Beautiful quirky place to stay in Daylesford. Close walking distance to town centre. Lovely big apartment at a very reasonable price. Ziggy, the owner is extremely hospitable and will ensure your stay is a positive one. Very accommodating with a great sense of humour who has a very interesting life story if you get the opportunity to chat to him. Highly recommend

Loved loved this place. Beautiful apartment, super clean. And nice fluffy rugs to sit on the couch with. Ziggy the owner is super friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

It’s a contactless hotel. They give a very clear instruction so it’s easy to access to the little cozy apartment! The heat was on upon arrival, you would feel welcomed and warm in this cold winter. There is a spa bathtub, I got a most relaxing stay! Highly recommend!

Really, REALLY cosy place. Rooms are quaint and there is history oozing from every wall. Ziggy (who has an interesting past of his own) is almost always on-hand if you need anything. Breakfast is Continental buffet-style, with a wide choice. Only a short walk to the main street. Will definitely return.

We had to cancel our trip due to covid 19. Was able to work something out with the managers directly and postpone our trip to dates that suited us. They were so kind and understanding and made a stressful experience really easy. Great people, recommend their services
