One of the most iconic beauty spots in all of Australia, it's everything the photos promise. The walk from the carpark to the lookout is well formed and easy for anyone with even a basic fitness, it's definitely worth pushing yourself and walking down to the beach, even on a busy day, it's relatively quiet on the beach. Get to the carpark early and you'll miss the crowds.

Beautiful as expected and seen in the pictures.
The track to the lookout takes around 20-30 min, easy to follow and accessible.
The beach of Wineglass is totally worth visiting and spend a bit time there just chill and relax. Takes another 30 minutes one way for the 1000 stairs but it’s worth it

One of the best places to visit in Tasmania, the scenery is stunning and the track up to the look out is well formed and relatively easy to the 1,000 steps to the magnificent beach is challenging but worth the effort

Parking could be a bit rough but definitely worth visiting to see this amazing view! Lots of tracks you can walk but I just took the 1,5 return walk to see the view. You can also extend your walk at the lookout to go to the beach, it will add another 1,5 hour.

Picturesque beach and mountain views. Please do not take the walk lightly and stay safe. Remember to watch out for snakes on the trails.

Beautiful hike around the wineglass bay. Some amazing views of the beach down below. Tend to get very windy on the walkways.

Freycinet National Park is spectacular. The walk down to Wineglass Bay is challenging with the 1000 steps but absolutely worth the effort.
NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!!
Swim in the refreshing blue water will invigorate for the walk out.

Definitely one of the highlights from our recent trip to Tasmania. If you love a good hike with spectacular views then get to Wineglass Bay. Only did the walk up to the lookout which takes around 30mins. Go early in the day so you can walk to Wineglass Bay and back again (2.5 hour round trip) and enjoy some stunning views.

You do have to pay to get into the park, just a heads up. The walk down the stairs is a good workout, but worth doing as it takes you right onto the beach. We saw a mother wallaby in the parking lot, very sweet treat for our new travellers.

It's quite a hike but well worth it. The view is stunning and if you go on the longer hike down to the beach you could spend time on one of Tasmanias most pristine beaches. Take some water with on this hike as it is mostly up hill.

Nice place, wonderful beach and views.

There is a 1.5 hour hike to reach wineglass bay from the car park. Other options available read my other review.

You walk in from the north side to get to the south side it’s another 30 minute walk but well with it.

Less People on the south side and so much clearer and it’s enclosed so it’s a lot calmer.

Breathtaking view! 1.5hour to the lookout is very worth. Go down to the beach and play with the water and sand! I could stay up there for hours just by looking at the view and enjoy the moment.

Its a little steep. Make sure bring water bottle and take a rest half way if you are tired!

Definitely will come back again!

Absolutely pristine water and sand line the gorgeous Wineglass Bay - the centrepiece of Freycinet. The walk to the bay is lovely and we spotted some kangaroos along the way. There are a few stairs which take you to the main lookout and from there you can climb down to the bay and walk along the long stretch of coast. It’s a serene and quiet spot as a lot of people to choose to stop at the lookout.

Phenomenal beauty. A picturesque hike through the national park leads you to white sands and pristine water. Well worth tackling the steep incline on the way back up. Beautiful part of Tasmania.

Great view of the mountains. Cute little beach. The facts about the ants are cool but we didn't see any in may.

Stunning place. The water colours are amazing.
You could easily believe you're in the Tropics, if it's a bright ,sunny day.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I loved the view!!
my friend and I went to the short walks, which took us about 40 mins to go to the top and go back down. we got there a lit late around 3pm, next time will go there earlier so we can try the day walks.
We drove from Hobart to Wineglass bay, there are many beautiful spots along the way, would be good to stay a few nights to get to see more sceneries.

Amazing lookout. The hike took about 45mins. Can be difficult in the rain.
