Tasman Kebabs & Takeaway

We went by at around 8pm when this was basically the only option left in the peninsula. What a find! Host was so friendly and we had a nice good chat. Pleasantly surprised to find a fusion of Indian and ME flavours with the Chicken 65 wrap. Mixed kebab and the garlic nuggets was delicious too.

He’s moving out to Sorell, so will be sorely missed here. Well worth a takeaway stop for those traveling between Hobart and Port Arthur.

Located opposite of the Fox and the hounds restaurant. 500m from NRMA Port Arthur Park.
We had the chicken open box and the lamb kebabs. Chicken and lamb were delicious and the chips were nicely fried. We enjoyed it so much that we had to order a second lamb kebab.
Mango lassi was nice too.
Nearby there’s a table and bench available for customers to sit and eat there.
Parking available right next to the truck.

Definitely one of the best kebabs and wedges we had! My partner loves junkfood but he said those wedges were the best he had in ages 😀
We had the mixed kebab and Chili and garlic sauce, maybe next time I would order it even without because the bread and meat were both so good itself!

Absolutely amazing Kebab, super delicious! Must try their Garlic Nuggets with garlic aioli, perfectly crunchy and super tasty! The wedges were cooked and seasoned beautifully, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! The family deal is a real bargain!

Amazing “snack pack” (meat, cheese, fries, sauce). I ordered lamb with garlic sauce and it’s super good! I also had Cheesy garlic nuggets, also great!
This is a food truck, only available for takeaway. Worth grabbing meals here if you visit Port Arther or Tasman Peninsula.

Excellent excellent chicken kebab & mixed open kebab! Everything was spot on and my family with picky eaters loved it all! Um, the pictures don't really do the quality of the food much justice though.. 😅

Nice little food truck in the peninsula which is open late. Kebabs were tasty and fries were even better. Amazing host as well, gave us a Mango Lassi as gift for our anniversary. That tasted really special. Thanks for that.

We went to have dinner and the kebabs + fries were really good :) We had the lamb and the chicken one and both were delicious. Staff was friendly and the order came out quickly. Recommended!

Delicious kebabs x 3. Drove all over the peninsula looking for dinner options. Kebabs sounded perfect - everywhere else was unappealing. So worth it! Delicious tasty meat and good amount of garlic sauce and salad. Perfectly toasted so it didn't go soggy. 3 out of 3 finished. Would definitely recommend this food truck opposite fox and hound to anyone struggling to find somewhere for dinner in the area!

When it comes to kebabs and service I feel as though this is a 10 out of 10. It’s hard to find kebabs this good Even in Sydney nowadays. The owner Very generously, serving sizes and prices modest. We Were a total of nine people, and we all received our food in a timely manner cooked fresh. Once again, an excellent experience all around.

Seriously one of the best kebabs I ever had and he was so precise what do we need and also the suggestions.

If you are staying around port Arthur for a few days , he has got pre order food deliveries for a bigger group.

A good friendly talk (Brothers Mumtaz and Mushtaq) over the course of food and exploration.

A must visit if you are craving for kebabs and wraps.

Convenient stop on the side of the road at this food van. Very friendly and extremely yummy food that was made whilst we waited. Couldn’t ask for more or better! Fantastic to support such a hard working family.

We enjoyed a tasty open plate kebab. Great value Quality takeaway in the least expected location.

Amazing Mixed Kebab, super delicious! Family meal was a bargain. Best Chicken Nuggets ever, have to try with the garlic aioli! The wedges were perfectly seasoned, comes with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

Mo served my family of six, five minutes after he was meant to close so that we didn’t go hungry (everywhere else was already closed). The kebabs were incredible and the service was top. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

Really awesome food , worth waiting i must say . Highly recommend to hault bit for food and relax . 100% sure that you will never get disppoint from this food truck .

Great food, got the falafel snack box with hummus and sour cream. It was the best food I've had in my tassie trip so far.

Amazing vegetarian wrap, great Samosas! And apparently the only place to get food in the area after 6pm. Will return.👌
