The absolute best 👌 fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 Real hamburgers 🍔. Outside seating is cozy. Best of all the staff are so friendly and the young man on was a delight to have waiting on us. I will happily drive from Tannum any day.

This place is a gem from the friendly staff, lovely courtyard atmosphere and the food!!!
The best grilled Barramundi and chips ever...beautifully cooked and great taste.
Love the ranch/plank style chips.
Also love the fact it is served on a plate with cutlery which is reusable and more environmentally friendly than a box and disposable cutlery.
100% recommended!

It was our first time visiting since the new owners have taken over 12 months ago and I must say we were very impressed with our experience great service food was fantastic and fresh this take away or dine out experience is well worth checking out if your in the area
Also has toilets facilities on-site witch is a bonus for a takeaway shop

Visited after a long walk and wanted a spot of lunch. Wanted to eat but it looked and felt grubby so just had a drink. Apparently it was due to lack of staff so i feel we should give them the benfit of doubt and maybe return again to check it out . Hope all is better when we return.

This is a stunning find. Simple very good quality food cooked perfectly.
Cafe has a history that is well worth preserving.
Owners are creating something quite special.

Went to lunch with the family, fish and chips dine in. Well cooked and prompt service. And the customer service was absolutely spot on. Great experience

The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the food is great. I've tried a variety of their menu items, and I've never been disappointed. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. They always make me feel welcome, and they're always happy to answer my questions. I highly recommend this takeaway shop to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal.

The best service! They went behond expectations with great service. Food was amazing especially the fish of the day with golden crispy chips. Will be back soon.

Had a wonderful lunch after coming back from the beach. The staff were super friendly and provided a wonderful environment to order from and dine in. Food was delicious, fairly priced, and came quickly. The seating area is also decorated very nicely, created a wonderful atmosphere. Nothing to complain about.

This local establishment is hard-core friggen' perfection..... 47 out of 9 bananas.

I don't understand why some of these reviews are bad, but base on my experience, we had a wonderful time dining at MJ's. Upon arrival, We are greeted by a very friendly lady name sky. The coffee is just wonderful. The size of the burger are huge and can feed 2-3 people. My husband and I are very happy with the meal and enjoyed every bits of it.
I would highly recommend this fish and chips shop.. Come and try.

The pulled pork burger will change your life! 10/10 will be making this a regular place. Thank you for the good atmosphere, can’t wait for the live music and big screen for the footy!

Had my first burger from Mj’s. Burger was magnificent loved the burger sauce. Best chips I’ve had in a long time. And the price was great too. Will be back again

Love, Love, Love MJ's (Mangrove Jack's), the manger is amazing and very accommodating she has been nothing but amazing to myself and family every time we go, she is very nice and always smiling. Cost about $60 to feed 4 adults and 2 kids
