The Union Hotel

Stayed for two nights, had a fantastic time. The pub is lovely and the manager Adam is friendly, very welcoming and really makes this pub the place to be. Great atmosphere, rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

Excellent local pub with a large range of food options. Plenty of food options and accommodation. Highly recommend.

Call in 3.30pm on Good Friday, Very Hungry they turned the grill back on and made 2x burgers for us. Great service thanks

Great food and service on a busy night!

Marty greeted us as we came in and made us feel at ease instantly. He was happy to chat and gave us a great rundown on Tumbarumba and surrounds. The food was amazing - pizza had a crispy base and the wagyu skewers were tender and delicious. We ended up staying in the bar having a couple of quiet drinks and playing pool to the sounds of an eighties duke box. Definitely with a visit.

Stopped here for lunch after going to the falls! Highly recommend! Service was great, massive beer garden and food was served in 10/15 mins. Steak sandwich only $12 and was massive and absolutely delicious. I will be definitely coming here again for lunch! Cheers

Very good food and very reasonably priced. Had two meals over two nights and each cooked perfectly and delivered very quickly. Child friendly too. Beers on tap, also well priced and all served in a very friendly atmosphere. All in all a great experience in a relatively small country location.

I’m giving this a 5 star pub rating. Had “The Beast” - a parmy with pretty much everything. Staff super friendly even though a very busy Thursday evening. All in all, great dinner!

Stayed in town overnight and had lunch at the Union Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, the beer was cold and the best crumbed cutlets we’d ever had which were served in under 10 or 15 minutes! Thank you to everyone for your service and hospitality! 👍

A stunning drive from Albury led us to the Union. Publican was very friendly and helpful, giving top advice on the local area. Great beers in stock at affordable prices, meals were tasty and he even threw in a soft drink for each of the kids....will definitely be back.

Mexican parma was superb, matched with a crispy salad and fun purple dressing and amazing deli style chips, all paired with delicious schooner served by Chloe.
The vibe in the pub is great, locals incredibly inviting.

The highlight of our stay in Tumbarumba would be our visit to the Union Hotel for dinner. They swapped my meal at the last minute for the crumbed lamb chops and they were the best.
Also being a Monday night was trivia night, " the most fun to be had in Tumbarumba on a Monday night" & the owner certainly made sure everyone did.
The staff & locals made us feel so welcome, we will always have fond memories of Tumbarumba.

Perfect. Could not fault the meal or service. Best lamb cutlets I have ever had. Crispy chips and tasty salad. Service was good even though they were busy

This a great place with a great vibe, cold beer and great food.
Prices for the bistro are pretty good.
This is a typical country pub, friendly and in the centre of town.
Go in with an appetite though, no such thing as small portions!!

Stayed in Tumbarumba for 1 night. Walked into closest Hotel (Union) & ended up having a great 3 hours. Trivia was on & it was hilarious. Publican was very welcoming. The beer was cold & the food was excellent (Very well priced. Highly recommended.

Stopped for a great lunch today. Slow cooked pork ribs, avocado and prawn salad and the best local Rose. Beautifully cooked, great service and value for money. You’ve got to eat here.

Great choice if you want to just drop by to have a stay or just a beer! Don’t let the rustic appearance fool you!
Martin here is super nice, gave my wife and I (who went for the long stay) the best accomodation and service, and offered some great tips on getting around in the surrounding areas. Most likely will do the same for everyone else.

The service was excellent, infact it was better than many classy restaurants. The stake was premium cut and it was cooked to perfection. The kids enjoyed their meals and the location is great. Highly recommended for couples, groups or families.

We’d always go to the Tumba Hotel whenever we were in town for the rail trail. Tonight, we decided to give the Union Hotel a go, and oh boy, we were glad we did! I had a full rack of bbq pork ribs, and my partner had an Angus steak. Both dishes surpassed our expectations, with flying colours! A very down-to-earth pub with very friendly staff. Tumba is a lucky town with two excellent pubs offering exquisite pub meals!
