I arrive in my car and await directions from the ferry operator and position my vehicle accordingly, enjoy the 4 minute ride, then drive off when directed.

Great way to get across the Murray without having to go all the way around! We have a 14mtr in total set up (motorhome and trailer) and fit on the barge fine. Free service and took under 5 min.

This was a super quick service fitting approx 10 vehicles on it. The operator selects your position I'd suggest this is to do with weight. Once loaded (not taking long at all) the trip across the river takes about 5 mins

We decided to travel back to adelaide via a different route from robe and went on the ferry across the mighty Murray river. This is a free service and was a great way to come back to adelaide.

Loved it! Quick and easy, slightly cranky ferry man. We did not succeed in trying to make him smile. Pelicans were awesome.

Easy and short way across the river. The ferry runs all day, you just need to drive up to the terminal and board the ferry.
