I have recently visited this store for the first time and couldn't wait to return the next day with my husband. I was very impressed with the staff knowledge, particularly where specific items were located. It is such a huge store, but they knew exactly where the items were that I was looking for. The range of toys on offer is insane, the prices are great with some incredible sales and they price match 🙌 This will absolutely be my go-to place for all kids toy needs in the future.

I went to Marion toy mate today and couldn't fault it. I was after a particular toy but unfortunately it had sold out, so Matt who was working in store today went out of his way to find one at another store for me, he also organised for it to be held until I could pick it up. Matt is a true asset to Toymate. Thanks for making my shopping experience so positive.

Great store layout out with the best selection of Toys in Adelaide. The service from the Management Team was nothing short of Brilliant, we had an incident with a Toy we purchased for a Christmas Present, while unpacking from the packaging a part of the toy broke off. My son was distraught that he had broken the toy he wanted so much. When we presented the problem with the store management team, they were so understanding and fixed the problem. Their friendly and great service was literally fantastic. They even listened to my son’s advice on how they could make the store even better.
I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for any toy and not only is the service great from the management team but they match and beat any price from any other retailer.

Huge selection of toys to choose from. Including lego, hot wheels, ride on cars, dolls etc.

I find it more inviting then collanades what I mean by this is that the isles are good sized so you can actually walk down them with a trolley with enough room for people to move past. I don't know if they have the same amount or more then collanades but it just is spaced out nicely you can actually look at things without feeling over whelmed. They do need to turn the music down though, it is so hard to think in the outdoor toy section and it's not good for kids to be overwhelmed by toys, parents talking and also over stimulated by the loud blaring music. Turn down the music a bit please it is actually full on we don't want to party just look at toys lol other then that workers are helpful and polite.

Awesome store! So well stocked and the range of brands and variety is much better than the department stores. The way toy stores used to be!! Soooo much Barbie 💓

Great place, if your taking kids expect to be there over an hour, well worth it just for a browse, fantastic range!

There is no plastic smell anymore and a great amount of different toys and some toys you can’t get anywhere else

Big selection, catering for the u10 mainly. Seems to be the type of store that stocks all variants of a product line, which is a nice change. Store was tidy and clean.

Store layout is clear, making it easy to locate categories of toys/products.

Despite have a huge range of board games, the selection of card games was a bit lacking and they didn't have what I was specifically looking for (Phase 10 - card game), but neither do most stores (hence the visit).

Parking wasn't an issue when I visited (couple of days before xmas).

Credits on the store music selection. Bang on the purchaser demographic. I betting most of the music was new to the staff. FWIW, it kept me in the store longer for sure. :)

Great "warehouse" for finding anything and everything. Only downside, no bathrooms? Bringing small kids and not providing a bathroom was a huge surprise.

Store itself is good but the Manager was super grumpy and swore in front of our children. Toy stores should be happy places!

This is just a review of their upper management....they treat their staff disgustingly. Poor kids (young adults), who they hired and promised regular part time work, trying to earn a few bucks but they cast them aside to save a dollar or two an hour and at late notice swap their shifts with 14 or 15 years olds. Shop there by all means - but do not let your kids work there. It's just an awful introduction to working life and I couldn't think of a worse place to work. This company will stoop as low as they need to to save a dollar

Great store layout and product selection but the staff are as little dumb. One boy hid at the very back of the store apparently doing stuff. The rest at the front all chatting away. The thieves are going to have a field day there: no one on the door / door wide open/staff all nfi

Asked for one product was advised it was on that half of the shop!! Lol they had 12 units of it couldn’t find one: left empty handed. No one had a clue.

The young lady that I just spoke to needs to learn better phone manners, she was rude, and not helpful at all. I'll take my buisness some where else.
