Provalije Waterfall

An amazingly beautiful place, full of beautiful details and creations, both natural and man-made. A beautiful example of coexistence and harmony between man and nature. This place has a long history, which is evidenced by the choice of the ancient Illyrians who made this area their home 3500 years ago. Evidence of human life in this area continues even further. The Bregava River plays every now and then and forms beautiful waterfalls. In summer, this beauty diminishes as the water level decreases. The big problem is parking, on this stretch you have nowhere to leave your car except on the side of the road.

It is best to come in spring or autumn. In summer, the water level drops so much that there is almost no waterfall.

Easy parking on the road. Short but steep path down. Beautiful waterfalls with cafe/restaurant on each side.

Beautiful waterfall. Best time to visit is during spring, because during the summer level of water is lower and you can’t see the waterfalls. There are some nice houses that you can rent on booking with view on this waterfalls.
Near you have a lot of nice restaurants with fresh fish and lot of other dishes.

Very nice place. The water was clear and not too cold. Take your swimsuit with you because you can swim here.

The waterfalls are amazing when there is enough water, you can walk on both sides for extra views with bridges about every 500m. The river there has a significant drop and the waterfalls are very wide. Apparently some local women made a staircase down to the river for swimming. There is a restaurant nearby, sadly its not working at the moment.

Lovely spot, reasonable cafe too! Nice cooling spray if you sit on the terrace!

Such a beautiful place, worth visiting over and over again. Dries up during the hot summers, but during the spring, to the end of May or even in June, it looks amazing. The best way to enjoy it is while eating the best trout in Bosnia, in a restaurant called Old Mill, just under the waterfall.

Very beautiful and not far from the town center. During summer you can take a swim too.

We found an off beaten track to the back of the waterfalls and enjoyed the views there with a picnic. The entire village is a beautiful getaway from Kravica Waterfalls which is heaving with tourists!

Nice place to cool down during a hot day. Water is clear and cold, and you can dip in the water, there are even few rocks where to jump in the ponds.

There was plenty of water even on July 6th 2023 to call them waterfalls, so we'll worth a visit.

Nice view but the watermill is temporarily closed. Still worth for photos.

Very beautiful place, worth visiting and you have to take photos on both sides, as well as it is highly recommended to eat there in the restaurant that is directly located near the waterfall.
We loved the whole area and we made great memories

Beautiful waterfalls and easy to get to!

Beautiful hike with waterfalls. Take the bus to the top and hike down, avoiding some of the crowds. Very interesting geology and fall formation.

Great place to visit, take a picture and have a bath in a cold Bregava river.
