Excellent place. We had a nice room in hotel Pirg in old style. The territory is well kept and very beautiful. Bridges, houses, church, animals. You're like in old village. But service and breakfast is not for 5 stars hotel. But it worth to visit and stay there.

Outdoor museum with various traditional rural buildings, filled with plethora of tools and artifacts. There is also a restaurant with delicious domestic food.

Well laid out and very interesting. There’s an area on the hillside of buildings which have been brought from various places around this region and another area of reconstructed buildings, all displaying daily life in times gone by. I wish there had been a little more English, but to their credit, the website has an English option. There’s just no cellular service up there, so you either have to read about it before or after your visit.

Nice place to visit as easily accessible by bus and short walk from final bus stop at the school. We have delicious lunch at the restaurant in village and spent approx 3 hours in total.

It was a great experience, didn't imagine I would be able to visit such place. Where you can appreciate about the past ,the history of other cultures. To be able to try to connect and reflect about your past ,how things used to be when you were younger. I highly recommended it. I don't know about others but it was such an honor. And great food too by way, I believe they are authentic. And the service is super b.

Great place to visit! Lots of authentic old buildings, tools and equipment to see (and they're adding more), and a museum with over 5000 exhibit pieces. Food is also on another level - having a lunch or dinner while you're there is a must! Lastly, the entry fee is really low, 3 KM or about 1,5 €.

Well worth a visit!

Here, the owner has gathered old houses and items from the area just south of Banja Luka and displays them in an authentic environment.

Of course, you can also try local traditional food and drinks.

The next time I visit I will also try stay over night in one of the cabins.

Besides a museum you can also stay the night here in one of many old houses. Everybody just left in the evening and you were left alone in the museum for the night. Really strange experience for a westerner. They even allowed us to park 3 motorbikes inside on the little square!
Food was good, prices were Bosnian. Service was wonderful. Unforgettable night!

Dont forget to bring cash, they dont accept cards here.

A beautiful outdoor museum offering great insight into what an old local village used to look like. This incredible collection is mind blowing in every way, and more than worth the 1.5€ ticket price. Great for kids and grown-ups alike.

The museum is complemented by a beautiful restaurant offering delicious home made dishes.

Keep in mind that they do not take card, but you can pay using Euros or BAM.

Ljubačke doline is a unique and wonderful place that preserves and presents the traditional culture and heritage of this region. It is like a living museum, where you can see authentic buildings, furniture, and objects from the past. You can also learn about the life and customs of the people who lived here. The place is very well arranged and maintained, with a lot of attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they will tell you interesting stories and facts. The church of Cyril and Methodius is especially beautiful and impressive. Ljubačke doline is a place that you will not forget. It is ideal for families and for anyone who loves history and nature. I highly recommend it!

One of the best places around Banja Luka. Better visited on a weekday to avoid the crowds.
It brings you back in history with many old artefacts. There is a restaurant on site, open till about 5:30pm.

If you are interested in old way of village life in that area you can find lot of very interesting things. Also, that place is really good opportunity to escape crowded and busy urban Banjaluka and enjoy truly rest in the peaceful and clean nature. Restaurant with excellent food and refreshment is also good option.

Excellent, nice and comfortable. Real museum in large open space. A lot to see and learn. Cousy restaurant with good traditional cuisine of Banja Luka and Krajina. Fresh air, beautiful nature - everything fits. Beware that you have to pay for the entrance.

Midcentury atmosphere. Authentic school, village house and much more, from almost 100 years ago. Serbian village like it was from the begining of the past century (maybe even older :) )
Food is 10/10. They got hand made juice (from another supplier).
