Mostar I Hotel Snježna kuća - Snow House Hotel, Rujište

We came late at night and did not see a lot at the arrival of the area. The morning views were great. The process for check in was great. Host Muhtar did not speak English, however he did make every effort to understand and communicate with us. We loved every day we spent at the hotel. On our last day there the restaurant host had live music. It was fascinating. A lot of locals and the festival atmosphere. Food is local, great taste. We loved our green tea and milk coffee every day. At the restaurant every day they burned wood, a big fire place right in the middle, light smoking feels like you're in the nature outside by the campfire.

I like Snježna Kuća, It's one of my favourite places, food/service are great, it's a high in the mountains, it's very nice location during the hot summer days in Bosnia.

I was there just for a coffee and mineral water (and great views), but hope to come for more, as this is a real oasis of peace and clean air. In summer it is pretty quiet - but hey, that's what I am looking for!

We visited the place several times for breakfast and lunch during our stay in the area. I cannot speak of the quality of their rooms, but the food in the restaurant is delicious (if slightly on the pricier side). The service was impeccable every time and the ambience, especially with the classic Yugo rock music, was perfect. You should definitely pay a visit to the restaurant if nothing else.

We simply loved our stay! We felt extremely welcomed by the staff! Everyone were super nice! Food is very good! I asked if it was possible to cook something for my baby and they did! This meant a lot to us! So our baby as well had fresh cooked meals!

Such an unexpected surprise to find this lovely restaurant after a long day hiking. Good food, reasonable prices, great views, and a huge fire. We had cevapi, meat stew, and the red pepper dip. The menu came in English. Highly recommend! The rooms look nice too though we didn't stay there.

Location was pretty hard to find because google maps doesn't lead you to the correct place. There is 14km from the main road, follow road signs carefully. The place was on the top of the mountain (+1050m).. unforgettable. Owners doesn't speak english very well but croatian and german is good enough for chat. They was nice and adorble, we felt there like in our home. Room was clean with good fittings. The room's view was beautiful. Atmosphere was peaceful. A lot of parking place and free wifi! :)

Located at 1050m above sea level, this place is perfect if you enjoy mountain atmosphere & climate. Food was great with reasonable prices. I recommend mountain chili - it was fantastic!

Wonderful location, great hotel. Beautiful atmosphere in the hotel restaurant with large fireplace.In the winter time, this hotel has a special charm. There is a ski trail also. My recommendation for short or long vacation.

The place is the only hotel in the only local ski slope around Mostar. It's well worth the visit because of the natural surroundings and the mountain views. Close to the hotel are numerous weekend houses of the cityfolk and the interior design is excellent, with the warm fireplace and the wooden architecture. One of the best features is the glass-enclosed winter garden with an overview of the valley. Try the entrees-ham,cream cheese and doughnuts. On weekends, there's live music as well, and the guest rooms are upstairs. There's a ski lift close by and skiing equipment available for rent inside the hotel.
