Château Wittem

Surely one of the best boutique hotels and now with a 2 Michelin star restaurant! The service is outstanding and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels and our favourite stay in the Netherlands! I would wish many other hotels could offer that professional service.

This was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, as is the castle, grounds, and rooms. Of special note is the service, especially from Goran, who was perfectly attentive, without being intrusive, and extremely friendly. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

I would like to highly recommend Château Wittem, which is the real castle hotel! We spent a very romantic night here, super ideal for the couples and the anniversaries. The staffs are so friendly and helpful, even prepared the rose and balloons 🎈 for our new marriage. I also want to highlight the 5 course menu, you will experience the food made by the Michelin chefs. Enjoy the dedication of the view and the taste.

It's been 4 years ago that I have been there. I am truely impressed by the renovation of the hotel. Beautifully furnished room, very comfortable bed with turn down service. Impressive atmosphere with classical timeless interior! Exceptional cuisine with excellent wines, worth a special journey

Had an excellent stay at Château Wittem.
The rooms have a lovely modern design with original classical lines.
Dinner was excellent with well chosen wines and optimal service.
The surrounding area invites for long walks and offers many routes through the beautiful countryside.

It was a bit tricky to enter the property since we did not directly see the little bell box at the entry gate but the staff helped us out.

Fabulous hotel with great service and superb food in the Brasserie (the main restaurant was closed). Highly recommended!

There’s a quite a few reviews criticising that the restaurant is too expensive. I don’t share this opinion. In fact I am convinced that the price-performance portrays a wonderful bang for the buck. Creative, satisfying, filling, friendly. I will be returning again.

We had lunch in this amazing restaurant. The menu was amazing and so was the service; we had a tasting of 6 courses, with pairing of 5 different wines from the first course to the dessert.

The location is great and in the Maastricht area, if you find yourself around here and you are looking for a gourmet destination you have to be here.

Christmas 1993 spent the first two nights of our trip there. Made all the "local" Christmas Markets (Don't miss Valkenburg) before leaving we made the decision to reroute our trip to come back the last night and stay there. If the world ever calms down, I would love to go back.

The castle is a great, stylish place to relax with some luxury. From the castle, there are many opportunities to hike or cycle. The castle garden is beautiful.
