I love this place. It's definitely my favorite waffle in Antwerp. A little pricey but the quality is amazing. Try waffle house if you're looking for a cheap waffle. The ice cream is also spot on. Top notch quality.

My favourite waffle place since 2019. Just indescribable - the waffle alone without any additional topping has been superb. Try their Desire de Lille Waffle, you’ll be blown away. Worth the price.

This is my third time visiting desiree and as always im not disappointed in both the food quality and the warm service ! I dare to say désiree has the best waffles in Antwerpen ever ! So fresh and crunchy ! perfect overall ! My mouth watered just by the thought of it !

I was here for a brunch i ate the most delicious salade and croque I’ve ever had in my life !! The sauce in the salade had so many tastes in a good way! I Highly recommend it

Having been around since 1903, it is clear Désiré de Lille is a crowd favorite for tourists and locals alike. When visiting, try the lacquement(s). Although available for take-away, I do not recommend trying to eat them on the go since it can get very messy very easily. There are plenty of seats indoors as well as a large private outside area surrounding a small pond.

The waffle is quite literally to die for! We went for the one with strawberry, chocolate sauce & sugar powder plus whipped cream. I also had a chat with the chef -from Morocco” who was super kind, explained about the different types of waffles, & the process. He gave me a pen as a reminder! Will certainly come again next time I’m in Antwerp!

It's the perfect place to have a breakfast.
Not the cheapest place around, but the quality of the food is quite good.
If you are a tourist this place is a must.

What surprised me was the lightness of the waffle - it breaks and crumbles when the fork touches it. The taste is balanced - sweet but not too much. Good coffee too.

Always excellent waffles. Alas, a bit on the pricey side now the Euro is €1.09 to the £1. Let hope the pound recovers.

We had our first and best waffle experience here. The place had a pleasant atmosphere. The waffles look just like the images on the menu which amazed us. The coffee was of good taste as well. Service was okay but not really in the mood to talk. location is near the center of the city which is great.

Amazing! We’ve come here already 2 times in 2 days. The waffles are really good, super fluffy. The pannecoken it’s delicious and extremely big (they serve 2). The service it’s really nice also, and the place it’s big with local costumers.
