Château Féodal de La Roche-en-Ardenne

One of the best castles of its time, still standing tall over the beautiful town of La Roche.

The view from here is simply breathtaking.

It was my first time in this town. Walking through this castle instantly took me back to the Middle Ages - a fascinating imagination and a solid testimony of the civilisation that underlines it.

Inexpensive, with plenty to see and (when we went at least) a falconry display included. It's also illuminated with a light show at night and worthwhile finding a vantage point on the opposite side of the river (Rue du Chalet is good).

Enormous castle ruin with endless rooms, corridors and chambers for the kids to explore. Fabulous views of the town below. Worth the cost of admission to see— must have been a spectacular site in the 12th and 13th centuries.

A great middle ages castle ruin. You receive a paper with an explanation of different areas within the castle to explain what it used to be and when it might have been constructed. There's also one or two cafeterias which were closed (probably because of covid19). I learned a lot and it had some great views.

Well worth a visit, particularly if you’re lucky enough to join one of the guided tours round the chateau. Alex & Pablo gave an extremely interesting & informative talk about the Chateau & town. Thanks guys, it really brought it all to life. Keep up the good work.

Great place to feel the old time, and nice view

Its a great city for walking. We were there for a quick tour, but its something i recommend to see in Belgium.

Great, ancient castle, with ghosts, boo!

Amazing experience, the castle it self looks really cool and offers nice views. There's a bird of prey show which offers a close experience. You can also do archery and have a local beer in the built in pub. Highly recommend!

Very authentic and beautiful view to the village

Nice castle with a cool bird show. Castle us well kept and fun for kids. Highly reccomend it. You can even go do some archery!

Very nice castle /ruin. For two months (July and August) a nice performance is being held at 10 pm every night. Once a week with fireworks. The show is about the ghost of the castle and its origins. Good lighting and good story.

Birbs. You know those wild birbs? Big and strong and can kill you if they feel a heartbeat?! Yes these! Birb show was so fantastic and cool! And a birb flew so close to me. I learned so much too! Thank you birb masters.

Oh and of course, the whole place is beautiful too. Don't forget that! It's like from the 9th century and I had fun walking there!

Entertaining and interesting site, a place for couples or the whole family. During the summer time there's different attractions and activities going on in the castle. A must do in La Roche.
