Wow. I don't easily give out a 5 star review.
Food fantastic. We had the smoked tapas as a starter. Holy cow, you can taste the chefs passion here, he really knows what he is doing and incredible care is taken to make a great plate. Then ribs and stew, both perfect. The ribs, gentle smoke flavor, fall of the bone, great sauce. This is really a gem. Friendly service also!

Cold beer, chimney inside, excellent charcuterie platter, good service, huge portions, surrounded by trees and a 12th century abbey. What else?

We went to visit the Abbey, and we were headed to their restaurant but it was fully packed. So we went to this one instead and did not regret it in the slightest! The food was delicious and in a nice and cozy environment!

I had the filet mignon, but tasted the salmon lasagna, beef carbonnade, and the lamb ribs all of which was of great! At the end, for dessert, the chocolate mouse and chocolate cake hit the spot!

So I can highly recommend this place!

Great location, in the woods in front of the abbey of Villiers la Ville.
There's good food, good beers and interesting drinks.

Amazing snacks, homemade pickles and smoked/cured fish. Staff made sure wait times were short even though it was very busy.

Beautiful place

J’ai pris un steak frite salade et c’était vraiment parfait, que ce soit l’ambiance qui est présente ou bien la nourriture qui arrive vite et qui est délicieuse (surtout la sauce aux poivre). Les serveurs sont hyper accueillant et ont de l’humour. Les frites étaient juste un petit peu molles.

Réservation souhaitée pour restauration vu que souvent complet ou attente (surtout en saison).Brunch du jour super, menus copieux ,choix large un plus concernant la viande excellente et régionale. Personnel serviable et attentif, le patron est également souvent sur place. Grand choix de bières pour les amateurs. À un jet de pierre des ruines de l'abbaye et de ses balades. P facile, en saison terrasse extérieure, une couverte type chalet. L'établissement a un site internet bien détaillé aussi sur fbook car des soirées
définies sont courantes ,voir programme. Possible paiement par carte bancaire. À découvrir...

Goede brasserie met zeer goede bediening. Onze hamburgers waren zeer groot. Kinderen hebben er niet veel van kunnen eten.
Zeker doen als je in de buurt bent. Via de website kan je gemakkelijk reserveren. Alhoewel er zeer veel plaats is: beneden, boven en op terras(wij zaten boven)

Je recommande l'endroit quand il fait assez beau que pour prendre un verre ou manger à l'extérieur. Cela en vaut vraiment la peine. La nourriture est de type brasserie, très bonne. Personnel sympathique et souriant

Accueil et excellent service a deux pas des vestiges de l'abbaye de Villers a budget raisonnable.

Repas consistant et garni avec soins. Service rapide (sachant qu'il ne s'agit pas de restauration rapide), attendez-vous a environ deux heures de détente dans un atmosphère chaleureux et rustique pour un repas complet (environ 3-4 services).
Accessibilité 7/10 petit hic pour le stationnement mais tout y est: d'une pente incliné aux commodités... Une denrée rare dans la région.
Petit recommandation personnelle: les tables côté rue ont une vue qui surplombe la vallée.

Excellente brasserie, un personnel très serviable et aimable ..service impeccable, endroit décontracté...et surtout nous avons très très bien mangé. Si vous passez dans le coin, n hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçu..
