It’s absolutely amazing place. Very nice vibe. I feel kinda noisy at the cafeteria but you can just go read books in the -1 floor. Overall the store is such a good vibe❤

Super friendly workers. They even helped me with a mistake that was entirely my fault. In the cafe section, the workers are very nice so don't be afraid to ask about their opinions on drinks and even books 😊

Very unique book shop/wine bar in the center of Antwerpen. Old villa which holds the original concept of the house and has a book shop on ground floor and a very cosy wine bar on the upper floor. Loved everything about it. Such a lovely place

Very fun and cozy place, fun concept, dog friendly, it's rather popular so it can definitely get a bit louder around some times.

The bookstore part has a nice array of books from what I have seen. And all of the staff is very nice.

This place is heaven for bookworms. The collection of books is absolutely amazing. I could've wandered around just looking at books for hours. If you visit, be sure to take the stairs down to the YA/children's section. It looks totally different from the upstairs, but just as great with a lovely collection, as well. I could keep on ranting for ages about how gorgeous this place is. There is also a winebar above the bookstore (they have other things than wine, too) with a lovely terrace. We'll definitely be coming back!

Bookstores are basically art galleries filled with stories. And if that's true, then there is no better place in Antwerp to marvel at the beauty of the books, and to discover those stories, than Luddites. Why? Because it's a bookstore AND wine bar! I mean, what goes better with books than wine? 😍

There is a broad selection of both Dutch and English books downstairs, and a cozy bar with a retro-like vibe upstairs (and a cute color-coded bookshelf next to the stairs). The staff is very friendly and accommodating; they will help you choose your books and/or wine. Even if you're not much of a wine lover, there are some special local beers and great coffee/hot chocolate.

I cannot think of a better place to spend a winter evening in, while drinking a glass of wine and indulging in a freshly bought book, listening to jazzy tunes in the background.

The cafe is very nice, and a great hidden spot to meet with a friend without the high street noise. There is a good section of English books and a nice children’s section downstairs. The staff are very nice and it is possible to order books into the shop if they don’t carry them.
At the moment they have a great deal for half price wine when you buy a book. Or a membership for the year and receive 10% off purchases and one glass of wine per month.
I can really recommend making a monthly date with yourself and visiting this shop 👍

Honestly the cutest bookshop! They have a good selection of English books as well. The cafe upstairs is adorable and really pretty. It has plugs but no WiFi and a really good wine selection.

The bookshop has this really cozy Victorian-style vibe. In the wine bar they have loads of wines, including some local ones! If you're into books and wine and happen to be in Antwerp, you should check it out.

Beautiful place to wander between a large collection of English and Dutch books, afterwards a perfect hide out for enjoying a good glass wine in good company. Highly recommended! We'll be back! 🍷😉

Such a cozy place, and a cool idea. Luddites is a book store and wine bar with the largest selection of English books I've seen in Belgium. The main floor and basement houses the books, but the upstairs wine bar is probably where I will probably spend most of my time. There's no wifi here, so I'm looking forward to grabbing a book, drinking a glass of wine (or beer or coffee) and just unplugging from the world for a bit.
