Maxi Park Hotel & Spa

Went there for my birthday, and I had a great time. I didn't celebrate it tho, I just ate a chocolate cake and cheesecake. Anyway, I really liked it there, and I don't know how there's 1 star reviews.
Also I almost slipped 6 times around the indoors pool, so if you have clumsy kids, then be carefull and dont wear sandals around the pool.

I am impressed by the way the hotel is run and the quality of service which greatly surpasses other hotels in Bulgaria. I would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

The hotel is somewhat more remote than others in the area, overlooking the town.

I was there with my daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed the kids club organised on site. There is also plenty of outdoors to enjoy which is great for a kid.

Rooms are made to a high standard and are also maintained accordingly by the housekeeping staff who were also incredibly polite and accommodating.

I was very impressed by the restaurant in the hotel. The food was impeccable every single time and there wasn't a single thing that I did not like. One thing to note is that the food is more local rather than international but I see this as a massive plus because it is all done the right way. There is also a great selection of wines and recommendations from the staff paid off.

The hotel is great. Rooms are spacious and well equipped staff is responsive if you need something to be adjusted and you need more accommodations to fit your needs. 2 outdoor pools with plenty of space in the shade or sun and shallow parts for kids. Spa rooms are many and provide great coverage of services. The free Breakfast was very good with large selection of healthy choices.
What really puts this place above all other hotels is the serene location high on the hill with the natural forest. Quiet and away from the loud crowds.

Great experiencd in general, good food, heaps of parking spaces, good service. There are a few deficiencies: elevators are small and terribly slow, the large external pool is not accessible by wheelchair

A truly lovely experience at a child friendly spa hotel.
We arrived without a booking but even though the hotel was busy the staff took us to see the remaining rooms for us to choose from! Although we were with Bulgarian friends, all the staff spoke English and greeted you whenever they went past.
The rooms are a very good size with well proportioned balconies. I have seen smaller "suites"! The room had a well stocked mini bar and towel robes for the spa. They even have kids sized robes which was a lovely touch.
Meals were included and consisted of buffet style meals. The range for dinner and breakfast was good and all of a good quality. The breads at breakfast were especially good.
The spa facilities were excellent with a range of pools and hot tubs both inside and out. Very child friendly and relaxed.
We actually managed to drag ourselves away from the spa for a walk in the eco park. Well worth a walk if you stay, with some lovely views.

I had an absolutely pleasant stay at hotel Maxi this weekend! The staff was super friendly, the food - super delicious, everything was clean and tidy. The room was in perfect condition and the view was very mesmerising! The staff contributed to our amazing experience and was always there when needed. We were impressed by the awesome services such as the pool and the spa. We were very happy with their manager, who handled all of our questions professionally and made sure our stay was perfect! I would for sure recommend this place to my friends and family and would love to visit again soon. It is the perfect peaceful place to enjoy some time off!

I haven't been inside the hotel. I worked around the territory. The place is calm and beautiful. It stands in the pine tree park. You can find benches to have a rest. And enjoy the panorama of the town near the big Cross.

I absolytely love this hotel. At least 7 times we have been their guests and we will keep coming back.

With my wife we wanted the best service we can get for our few days in the Rhodopes mountains (December 2021) and were not disappointed. Maxi Park is luxurious but not pretentious. Most of the hotel has been renovated recently and looks brand new.
The personnel is great, everyone (from the SPA to the cleaning employees, from the restaurant to the reception) is very nice and at your disposal.
The room (premium studio) was huge, with a great view of Velingrad and the mountains and great accommodation (king size bed, gigantic tv, mini bar, etc.).
A big plus to the restaurant Hunters with a nice and cozy mood and a great menu, which includes typical dishes from the region (my wife who is Bulgarian confirmed that the menu is not a tourist trap). I also mention that they highlight the Bulgarian wine production (who is often underrated).
The only negative point would be that they apparently had some issues with their chimney and it felt foggy and smelt smoke in the lobby and the restaurant. However, this is their first year since the renovation and I am sure that they will fine tune this issue.
We went for the winter and look forward to come back for the summer!

I had a very nice time during my vacation in one of the best hotels of Velingrad – Maxi. I was told it's a good place to stay and I am very impressed by the way the staff attends every hotel guest – with genuine interest to hear them out and to find a way to please all their needs. I couldn't have imagined a better view from my hotel room, I couldn't have imagined a better pool and better services. The whole hotel is very clean and looks modern. I must mention too that even managers such as Katya Kiurkchieva take the engagement to make all guests feel at ease during their stay in the hotel. All in all, I had a perfect time and a really high-quality service at Maxi!

Very helpful staff, Check In/Out was very easy. Mega Fast internet, 51 down 41 Up see pic attached. Sauna/Pool area are outstanding. Pools are empty in the morning up to 9.00 so if you want to have a good swim that is your time. Breakfast good to very good. My kids enjoyed the playstation(s) in the lobby. Room was extremely clean ( Housekeeping strongest department). Downside was the restaurant but there are no good restaurants in Velingrad. Was a bit shocked how some guests behaved among themselves and towards the staff. Please introduce a dress code for the breakfast room. No slippers , No pyjamas.

Very good location, a bit worn out SPA center but still cozy and nice and incredibly friendly staff.

Comfortable and calm place. Nice restaurant with big choice of wines. Traditional Bulgarian food. Rooms are with panorama view, big and comfortable. Several pools 3 indoor and 2 outdoor, relaxation room, different sauna and steam bath. Big choice of services.

Amazing place for a vacation with or without children. Everything is extremely clean, the rooms are spacey. The balcony is absolutely breath taking. The pools are clean with mineral water.
