Mountain Lake Hotel

Great place, nice view, clean and new rooms. Receptionist really helpful and speaks English as well. Restaurant has a good variety of options. Within 10 minutes of car from multiple attractions.

The best hotel I've ever been anywhere!!! The rooms are spacious and more than luxurious. TVs support paid programs like youtube,prime,netflix and so on. The spa is well arranged. The hotel is located in a peaceful environment among forests and has a small complex as well as a children's corner. The restaurant is open until 24 o'clock. Hardly recommend.

A lovely hotel situated in the picturesque Rodope Mountains, in proximity to the serene lakes of Smolyan. The accommodations are characterized by their spaciousness and cleanliness. Additionally, the hotel offers rejuvenating spa facilities.

Perfect place in the mountain, close to Smolyan. The apartments are very nice,
good furnitured, clean and warm. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Stuff is polite. Definitely will come back!

Great Spa Center!

The price is fantastic for the quality you get. We visited Mountain Lake after the working day ended and the pool was empty which for us is a huge plus. The saunas are just amazing!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, near the Smolyan lakes.
The area is very beautiful and you can visit many Eco trails and sightseeing sights nearby.
Only five minutes away, by foot, is one of the Smolyan lakes - every morning and evening we visited it, with our dog. It was beautiful.
The food in the restaurant is delicious, it's not cheap, more like eating in a restaurant in the capital.
The rooms were okay, there is 25 lev/night additional tax for bringing a pet.
The service was good, the staff is warm and kind.
Overall we're very satisfied and would probably go back next year.

Very nice place in the Rhodopes mountains, close to different hiking trails. The rooms are nice, the food is good, there are playgrounds for children and an indoor pool and spa. Dog friendly also.

Beautiful location perfect for hiking to Smolyan Lakes and Orpheus Rocks, lovely swimming pool and saunas, helpful, friendly staff, nice room with views on the balcony, decent breakfast included and meals. Great chips ! :)

Lovely, warm atmosphere with some traditional twist. The hotel is new and includes lovely SPA facility. The swimming pool is small but the sauna and the steam room are great. The restaurant is open all day through and their menu is full with local dishes worth trying. The food feels like home made in the best traditions of the Bulgarian cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Near the hotel there is a few small lakes for a lazy morning or evening hike.

Great place. It has all the amenities - great location, wonderful spa and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. Excellent heating, the spa area is after renovation and the hosts are very kind. Near the ski slopes of Pamporovo.

Everything was just excellent - food in the restaurant and nice quality red wine, breakfast included, newly refurbished SPA center with hot saunas and swimming pool, good cleaning service and warm rooms, great location and plenty of places for hiking with amazing nature in Rodopi mountain.

The place is great! Polite staff, warm and cozy. Prices are fair. Apartments are very warm and cozy, terraces and amazing view (in most of them). The SPA and massages are awesome. There is also a small swimming pool and gym. Roads are clean from snow, there are parking spots and light during the night plus a small play area for kids inside the main building with library, sofas and burning fireplace! It looks amazing also for the summer, with three lakes nearby and barbeque spot. I will visit it again for sure.

The only minus for the winter is that the Mafia that owns Pamporovo in the face of our Prime Minister (Boiko Borisov the Pumpkin) and his wife and some other in the compilation closed the "Smolyan Lake's Lift" so that people will move to Pamporovo in order to do so e skiing. The truth is that grumpy old mafiots, with empty heads, no vision for prosperity and greedy mouths cannot contribute for the tourism in Bulgaria. Their only goal to have absolute monopol over tourism and destroy the small and medium business that they cannot buy. They cannot support and organize Pamporovo itself and then want to have income.

Smolyan is great it has a lot of potential!!!!!! I want to see both Pamporovo and Smolayn the greates together working ski resorts on the Balkans! Keep the good work boys!!! Let Smolyan show the rest of the resorts how to manage the resort, clean the streets and keep the fair prices!!! Wish you to get the lift back from the greedy mafiots and get few more! Show them how to run a business!!!

It's an amazing place. There are a lot.of places you can walk around and visit. The food and service are good, rooms are clean and cozy with a nice view. If you need stable and good internet connection, that's definitely not your place.
