Nice food, good service and the prices are normal. It gets busy during the dinner and recommend making a reservation. Also have the famous in this part of Bulgaria- sheep steak and you should try it. It's near kleptuza park so its quiet. The tables are far from each other so you're not disturb by other people's conversations!

Don't let the name of the restaurant confuse you - "In Grumpy" actually offers a friendly atmosphere with a large garden and lots of shade in the summer. On top of that the menu of the restaurant is superb. While there I tried the "Zhatvarska" salad for which they used some really tasty tomatoes. I am not sure if they were home grown or not but the supplier of vegetables of this restaurant is just perfect. Additionally the restaurant had a lunch many that included meatballs from a wild boar. If you see them on the list when you visit - I definitely recommend that you try them.

And lastly - the coffee. The restaurant servers Julius Meinl which I honestly found surprising because it is rare to find more extensive brands outside of the larger cities in Bulgaria.

Nice place to have lunch. Less than 10 euro for all, half a liter beer, fanta, coffee, two times meet and salad. No english menu, but were served well.

Great place with authentic Bulgarian food. Big and fresh salads, tasty grilled meats and friendly service. Large garden with cool breezes in the summer. Highly recommended, real Bulgarian experience.

Very good and delicious food. The meals are traditional Bulgarian and are wonderful. The prices are more than affordable. Friendly and fast service, polite staff and good quality food.

A very pleasant place. Friendly staff (our waitress spoke English), tasty food, low prices. Two-course meal can be eaten from about 2.5-3 euros. Inside is cozy, in the cold days the fireplace is burning.

Just a good traditional Bulgarian restaurn. You want to feel thespirit of Bulgaria? You should come here. The owner is a nice and huuuuge guy that is fun to be around. There are few waiters that know foreign language so it's not a problem if you don't speak Bulgarian. And even if you have some language problems they will try to accommodate you and make your visit as good as possible.

This is one of THE places to go in Velingrad, it's rather small but offers great food and particularly low prices, staff is friendly. The french fries are the best! :-)

The place is quite cosy and the food was great. We went there for lunch, it's small but it was worthy. The staff is nice and helpful. Prices - great for the quality they offer. Recommend!
